TL;DR: If parking is important to you, avoid this hotel unless you get written confirmation of a reserved spot before booking. The parking info only appears after booking, and you may be stuck without a space or the ability to cancel.
We booked this hotel for a 1-night stay because the listing on Booking.com stated that parking was available. However, the crucial detail — that parking costs €10 and must be reserved in advance — only appears after you complete the booking.
We reached out immediately to reserve a spot, but were told there were no more available. As a result, we had to drive around looking for random street parking and then walk back to the hotel, which was frustrating and inconvenient.
We even considered cancelling the reservation to stay somewhere else, but were informed we’d be charged in full — so we had no choice but to stay.
The hotel itself is decent for a short stay, but the way the parking situation is handled feels misleading and lacks transparency. This should be clearly stated upfront on the booking page, not buried in a...
Read moreThe stay in this hotel was absolutely horrible. The air conditioning was not working in the first room we got, the bathroom was not clean and smelling damp, finally after a night of non-sleep because it was so hot, we got a new room. Here the air conditioning was working but it was not actually cooling very well because it was very old and was also making a lot of noise. The room was big, true, but not very well kept and the furniture was something from the 80s and not in a good way. The food for the breakfast was not even decent: everything seemed like it was done the day before, the bread was hard, the milk sour, the cheese was fermented (it was not the kind of cheese that is supposed to be fermented). And the staff is either incompetent, ignorant and careless or straight up rude and insolent if we're discussing the manager that, by the way, was not even capable of speaking English and was screaming at us in Bulgarian, expecting us to understand what she was saying. Worst experience I ever had in a...
Read moreThe most horrible experience, don’t recommend it! The room was filthy, there was a very bad smell that lingered in my clothes after I’ve left, the heating didn’t work and it was freezing. Every day I would kindly ask them to do something about this, at least give me an electric heater, nothing happened. The bathroom was so dirty, I don’t think it was cleaned in the past few months, you could see a lot of hair and slimey stuff in the shower drainage. I would not even mention the food but what really made my stay there an awful experience was the fact that I had a pair of jeans stolen from the luggage I’ve left at the front desk until the evening on the last day there. I also had some money in the pockets. The conversation with the receptionist regarding my missing item was almost surreal, I decided there is no point in wasting my energy for this so I left even though initially I wanted to call the police. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this...
