The food was nice but the service was really slow. The waiter told us to order online by scanning the QR code, yet when we did, they didn’t accept our online order and we had to verbally tell them TWICE to accept it. They also didn’t bring all the orders we placed. Besides, I don’t understand why we have to pay extra for almost everything when it is a literal buffet place. I don’t mind paying extra for the soup and the prawns but for the pork blood as well? At least make it make sense as to why the customers have to pay 1$ for each bowl, and don’t even make me start on the serving of the pork blood. How does it make sense that regardless of the amount of customers at one table, they only serve one FREE bowl of pork blood? I went with one person, they gave us one free bowl. I went with 5 people, they gave us one free bowl. The math aint mathing to me. If you have a good reason for it, at least spare some effort to explain it to the customers. Last but not least, the speakers were blaring loud, we had to practically shout at one another to hear what the other people were saying. By the time we were done with the buffet, you’d best believe everyone had their fair share of coke from the amount of...
Read moreDuring the Chinese New Year promotion, I received a voucher from Hai La that stated "Free Voucher $6.90." According to the terms, it could only be used in the afternoon from Monday to Friday and was valid for specific menu items shown in the accompanying image. However, when I attempted to redeem it, the staff informed me that the voucher did not grant a free buffet but instead allowed me to eat the buffet for $6.90. This was confusing because if the buffet already costs $6.90 without the voucher, then what was the purpose of the voucher? The misleading wording and unclear conditions were not mentioned in the terms, which made the experience feel deceptive. This kind of marketing tactic damages customer trust and feels like a scam. Clear and honest communication should be a priority for any business, and this experience was deeply...
Read moreThere's barely anything to order. Not much of a variety in their menu compared to other buffet where there are many more side dishes and so many to pick from. It's not worth the hype. So overrated from the public. I was charged 12.1$ in total and i don't see anything special here compared to other buffet places. They seriously need to add more side dishes so the customers can have more to pick from. I don't think i would go...
