Baahu Villa — Hotel in Siem Reap

honestly I'm not one to leave reviews and I've been travelling south East Asia with my girlfriend for about 2 months and not once has either of us left a review. but this place blew out minds. super clean room that seem to have been renovated recently but not advertised so also very new. it last had a little terraced garden which was nice. Beautiful pool hidden amongst lots of greenery. couldn't really ask for a better location and most of all the staff are incredible. On arrival we were greeted with a fruit platter and lemongrass tea then we did a day trip around the temples that started at 4:30am, when we got back in the evening fairly exhausted and very hot they were waiting for us with cold towels which was exactly what we needed. As I'm writing this someone came over to me at the pool and gave me an ice water and melon in coconut milk (kinda crazy). couldn't recommend highly enough and especially for the price. if I'm ever back in Siam reap again, I won't even be looking around for a place to stay. I couldn't recommend this place more highly. I became sick with food poisoning in Siem Reap and had to go hospital for two days. Reception swiftly extended our stay, and offered their assistance in helping us to rebook flights with Cambodia Angkor Airlines (which we were struggling to do with the language barrier). They were very helpful in assisting my travel companion to book things while he waited for my in hospital and regularly checked in with him to ensure I was doing well. As for the facilities, I was very impressed - they appear to be recently renovated and it was great value for the price we paid. Air conditioning could have been stronger, but we were grateful the air conditioner worked well to keep us cool enough. The location is great and accessible (close to pub street etc.). Really nice, clean and elegant looking hotel with a pool and restaurant downstairs. I stayed in 6-bed dorm which was super cozy and comfortable. Plenty of storage space with lockable large cupboard and the private alcove by your bunk bed (lower) to unpack. It was always clean, AC worked perfectly and it was quiet. One of the best accommodations on my travel! Good location. Quiet street, yet only 5 mins walk from Pub street, 2 mins to Old Night Market by the river. I also booked Angkor Wat tour, tuk tuk and airport shuttle through reception. Thank you Barang and the team for a great stay in SR. Staff is very friendly and polite and always there to help.
