We we're supposed to be picked up from the airport. After arriving and waiting 15 minutes nobody showed up so we grabbed a taxi for $10. When we arrived to the hotel the front desk staff said that the guy had just left to get us. We arrived early so our room wasn't available but they gave us 2 rooms for the same price which was nice. Breakfast was alright, but nothing special. The water pressure in the room was terrible and there was never any hot water. The room was very basic, but did include complimentary drinking water. Matress was firm, but did the trick. The pool was nice, but very small. More of a plunge pool. There were flies everywhere so it was not enjoyable to sit out. Lounges were dirty and towels were terrible. We spoke with the front desk staff on 3 separate occasions about our transportation to the airport. We told them how many bags we had and they said they would order us a Tuk Tuk. We requested a car since we had 3 large bags and 3 smaller carry on bags. They said they would take care of it. We went to the front desk to check out and they showed us to a Tuk Tuk. When we requested a car (for the 3rd time) they said it would be a $10 charge. Since we were in a rush we ordered a Grab (Uber of Cambodia)to bring us to the airport which was the same price. Pay the extra money to stay...
Read moreWe stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in December 2019. Three nights too many! ||||The location is good, 5 min walk from pub street. And that is as far as the plus of this hotel goes. ||||Minuses: very dirty! The walls of our rooms were stained. And not few normal stains that appear in time, especially at feet level. No, stains on the wall, from top to bottom. As if someone sprayed dirt on them.||Toilet, especially the bottom exterior, looked terrible. I think no one ever cleaned it on the exterior.||Same thing goes for the faucet. When I touched it, it felt as an extra layer of dirt had been accumulating in time.||The drapes were torn and hanging as if someone threw them by accident.||||We did not try the breakfast. There were very few options and the smell coming out of the kitchen invited us to eat....somewhere else.||||We did not try the small pool either. The street was under heavy construction and the pool and sun chairs were dusty and dirty. ||||We are not very pretentious and we do understand this is Cambodia, but we are not willing to compromise basic cleanliness. We had stayed in 10 other hotels in South East Asia and this was the...
Read moreGreat value for the money.highly recommended. Rooms are clean and very spacious. Walking distance to art market, night market, pub street and the river. They have a small swimming pool in the front area. Great room service. They will offer free transportation service with tuk tuk drive. The tuk tuk driver will do the brainwash like he will show the sunset($10), sunrise at angkor wat and all the temple($20).although they are nice Dont allow them to trick you. THe particular driver will drop you in front of the temple and you are on your own afterwards. If you book with other tourist agencies, they will guide you with tour guide(and more facilities). It would more convenient. This hotel has massage and spa facilities, but little expensive. You can try from night market or art centre market for cheap prices ($2 foot massage,$9 full body...
