Little Prince Resort & Spa — Hotel in Siem Reap

When we arrived the manager Mr. Charly welcomed us at the hotel, explained everything and even gave us his Whatsapp number in case we needed anything. The rooms are quite big with a TV, fridge, coffee, tea and of course wifi. The bathroom has a cool shower with rocks on the floor and there’s even a bath tub out in the back. But what do you need a bath tub if you have such a beautiful swimming pool in the front! Absolutely stunning and perfect to relax and take a swim after climbing what feels like thousands of steps at Angkor Wat! There’s a small breakfast buffet with a complimentary menu from which you order almost everything. Very friendly staff always there to help. You can even get a massage at the hotel and at the bar there’s great drinks and cocktails for very fair prices! Also they get you a tuktuk whenever you need one, best driver ever Mr. BoNa, ask Mr. Charly if you need to get a hold of him! We usually got a tuktuk (you know the hot and humid weather) however the hotel is totally walking distance to some great restaurants (5 minutes) and even the center with Pub Street, Night Market and everything else (10-15 minutes). We had a great stay at Little Prince. We got the honeymoon package, the room was huge and beautifully finished with a great bathroom and view of the pool. The pool area is gorgeous with lots of loungers and plants, atmosphere is lovely. It’s in a peaceful street a short tuktuk ride from the main town, with a couple of great restaurants a short walk away. ||We had two Khmer massages each at the spa and they were fantastic, an absolute must if you are staying. The therapists were friendly, professional and have obviously been very well trained. Had we stayed longer we would have gone again, we both feel like we have new backs now...!||Some small negatives/suggestions: it would be good to have proper chairs on the balconies for sitting out in the evening. Decor is beautiful and the staff is very kind, but the hotel leaves much to be desired. The photos give the illusion of a 5 star experience, but the execution is lacking. The whole place seems to be falling apart. PROS: great location, huge pool, nice staff, quiet, comfy beds, big bathtub. CONS: room was dirty when we arrived. Found a dirty towel in the bathroom, and everything needed a good scrub. Air conditioning remote was broken so we couldn’t change the temperature. Fridge turns off when you leave the room. Bathroom has a funny smell. Hot water takes about 5 mins to heat up. Shower head had no hook so you have to hold the hose, and water pressure is very low. No TV or soap provided. Wi-Fi is weak.
