Clh Suites Santiago was a great place to spend a few nights. It is wonderfully located close to lots of attractions that are within walking distance, and lots of public transportation just outside the door.
The staff were excellent, helpful with advice and providing tips on getting around the area. Shared and private rooms are available. We reserved a private room -a small bed in the living area and a queen bed in a separate bedroom. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We overlooked the street and so street noise was an issue, but we were in the heart of the city, so that is to be expected.
Wifi is accessed in the lobby or on the roof-top terrace. There is a pool table in the lobby, and an (unlocked) luggage storage area just off the lobby. The lobby is a fun place to hang out, as well as the terrace in the evening.

Read moreI love this place. I did a literal last minute booking when i had to bail from a more-than-3 star hotel nearby (who shall not be named) for snooty abysmal insulting service.
The staff in CLH are warm, friendly, cheerful and energetic. There is a lovely shared kitchen. I got a single room on the 7th floor and this has to be the first day in 14 days in Chile where it was quiet enough to have unbroken sleep. For the pretentious peeps, there is unfortunately some rundown furniture (i can sit on the other side of the sofa) and broken tile in the lift (dont stand on it, dummy). Definitely not a dealbreaker for me.
Would strongly recommend to stay here if atmosphere and service culture are important attributes to you.
