Hotel Sommelier — Hotel in Santiago

There is scum all over the tiles in the bathroom. The towels were clean but they were too old and threadbare even for foot towels. The shampoo & body wash dispensers had crud around the pump and didn't close properly bc the tops were cracked. The bathroom sink clogged up the first time I washed my hands in it. A/C didn't work well, lucky for me it cools down at night in Santiago. Breakfast is pretty scant, but the thing I found the funniest is they had a full-time person manning the breakfast bar and rationing out the food items. She had to have cost way more than the breakfast itself 😂. I didn't expect the breakfast to be included in the rate so I guess I shouldn't complain. One of the lamps in my room got short-circuited and kept flashing. I couldn't sleep at night until I figured out where it was coming from and unplugged it. Fire hazard for sure. The cleanliness of the room was ok, acceptable. The location is in city center and a 5-7 minute walk...

PRESTEM ATENÇÃO NESSA AVALIAÇÃO Estivemos em 3 casais no final de maio/2024. 1 - Quartos são espaçosos, banheiro com chuveiro bem quente, mas o meu era minúsculo a área do box. Parece aqueles banheiros que fez com o espaço que sobrou. CHEIRO DE MOFO! Fora que roubaram um relógio meu, bem baratinho, MAS SUMIU misteriosamente dentro do quarto :D. ALÉM DISSO, O QUARTO DIZ QUE TEM COZINHA MAS SÓ TEM FACAS E GARFOS. NÃO HÁ UMA PANELA, OU POTE A DISPOSIÇÃO. 2 - Café da manhã é servido POR UMA PESSOA COM CARA DE: COMO ASSIM VOCÊ QUER TOMAR CAFÉ AQUI? É servido no restaurante do ultimo andar (euforia) e por isso é bem aberto, horrível e tudo GELADO (simmmm geladoooooooo inclusive PÃES), pouca variedade (tinha croissant, pãozinho DURO, pão de queijo DURO, uns iogurtes e sucrilhos que pra mim não vale nada, ovo com sabor estranho, salsicha e um dia ou outro tinha uns donuts com sabor de velho). Até o café esfriava em 1 minuto. 3 - resolvemos jantar no euforia 1 noite, e escolhemos a opção de lanche da promoção (sairia 2 lanches com tamanho normal pelo preço de 1 = 60 reais). Pois bem a garçonete MENTIU pra nós dizendo que o lanche era pequeno, nos induzindo a pedir os lanches fora da promoção (10.900 pesos CADA UM, OU SEJA 60 REAIS CADA UM). E ainda não avisou que o lanche vinha com GEMA MOLE ENXARCANDO O LANCHE (que por sinal não valia o preço). POR ESSE MOTIVO ÓBVIO, NÃO QUISEMOS PAGAR A TAXA DE SERVIÇO (NO CHILE SE OFENDEM POR NÃO PAGAR), e ela FOI SUPER RÍSPIDA E MAL EDUCADA, QUIS VOLTAR TROCO ERRADO, E AINDA QUESTIONOU PORQUE NÃO QUERÍAMOS PAGAR A TAXA DE SERVIÇO. No final do atendimento ela perguntou: VOCÊS FICAM AQUI ATÉ QUE DIA? E FOI COCHICHAR COM UM GARÇOM. Dando a entender que ela iria reportar para alguém, e tivemos a impressão até que seria feito algo por isso (???). 4 - a localização salva para quem quer andar a pé e ir ao Cerro Santa Lucia, e outras avenidas por ali, pois é tudo bem plano. Mas quem vai com criança deve cuidar pois ao lado e na rua tem: lojas sex shops, casa de strip-tease bem na esquina e a noite é bem deserto ao redor, trazendo um pouco de medo por ser cidade grande!

Resumindo, pra quem quer economizar, vale a hospedagem desde que compre diversos passeios, faça passeios por conta, etc... do resto, se vc for exigente, fuja e se hospede em providencia mesmo...

This hotel is great place for the price. Staff is very friendly and they have breakfast. Everthing is close by and safe to walk but take your own precaution. Take santa lucia metro and getting down Tobalaba station you can go to costernera center mall.. Baquadano you can go to sancristobal.. santa lucia hill walking distance from hotel. Visit Las condes mall, barrio italia - italian food, lasteria , This hotel will arrange day trips to valapariso . Hotel next door is is strip club and no stripper will molest you.
