We loved this boutique hotel so much that we extended our stay a couple of days rather than return to Santiago. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and felt very calm after being outside in the (wonderful) chaos of Valparaiso. They have preserved the character of the old building very well and we loved the marvelous high ceilings. We really enjoyed breakfast on the terraza with incredible views of the harbor and surrounding hills. The location was excellent for walking all over Cerro Allegre and Cerro Concepcion. There were plenty of excellent restaurants nearby and when we didn’t feel like going out -the restaurant and bar on the hotel’s terraza opened on the weekend evenings. The staff were very helpful...

Spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, fabulous shower and toiletries. Read moreWhilst the staff were friendly and rooms cute, there are two major issues with this hotel regarding noise. First, you can hear the footsteps and conversations of the rooms above you, the wooden floor boards creaking when people above you move. Then, with the road right outside the hotel, it’s like you’re sleeping on the street, so cars passing by are very loud and tough to sleep well. More a 2-3 star hotel, and I wouldn’t recommend - the cleanliness was also an issue rooms only...
