We were visiting Santiago for the week for business and decided to give Bidasoa a try. I have been to Santiago a few times and never stayed here. I feel I made a big mistake never staying here because it was the best hotel I stayed in, in the Vitacura area, possibly, the whole city!!!

From the check in to check out, the staff was courteous, friendly, warm, and accommodating.

The hotel, as a whole, was beautiful and strangely smelled of fresh grapefruit throughout, which was super amazing.

First of all, the main floor is beautiful, the bar, restaurant, pool are in and lobby all flow together perfectly. It almost feels like one complete space.

The bar and restaurant spaces were beautifully appointed and even the small details of the outlets beneath the tables were great.

The food and drink were on par with the space. The bartenders were always on point with their Pisco Sours and their other cocktails (They actually ask you which style of Pisco Sour you Chilean or Peruvian, i won't share my opinion which is better, but the Chilean is a bit sweeter).

The restaurant is great, from breakfast to dinner. The breakfast buffet was always loaded with amazing fresh fruit, different hans, cheeses, breads, etc. They also make your eggs/warm choices to your liking. I love very easy scrambled eggs with bacon and toast and they were perfectly runny.

For dinner and later, the kitchen was on point. I tried a bunch of the stuff on the menu, but Santiago is one of the seafood capitals of this world and I would suggest trying all of Bidasoa's seafood dishes, you won't go wrong.

The rooms were great! Huge windows, with a long padded bench with pillows were a great touch. The king-sized bed was super comfy, with a good choice of pillows on the bed. The bathroom was nice with a good sized shower. I note about the shower, it is a nice touch that the head base is on a really tall pole and good for some of us that are a bit taller. One side note, if you are travelling from a region that doesn't use the 2-or 3-pronged plugs, bring a couple of converters. It will save you from walking to the mall down the street to buy them.

I just want to thank the staff for making our stay wonderful. It was nice to see the same happy faces daily and get to know them a bit staying there for 5-days and for them putting up with my terrible Spanglish.

I will definitely be staying here for every visit I have to Santiago going forward. Not only would I stay here for business, but I would stay here for a personal vacation and be able to enjoy it at a...

The Hotel Bidasoa was a highlight of my stay in Santiago. The rooms were quiet, sophisticated, and comfy.

I stayed there twice and both rooms were identical. With hardwood floors, a wonderful walk in shower, a window reading bench that I loved and a comfy bed.

The attached restaurant was delicious as well. We went there for breakfast, lunch and dinner and it didn't disappoint. The food was hip, unique, delicious, and amazingly presented.

The service was excellent as well. We had a late flight leaving Santiago and we worked with the front desk to have a 6 pm checkout for half the price of our room. So nice to have a wonderful hotel to rest in before an overnight flight!

I would highly recommend Hotel Bidasoa for your stay...

Bidasoa it’s a great option if you want to stay in a boutique or small hotel but with all the amenities of huge one. Very well located with close nice options to eat, shopping or visit. Bidasoa’s is very kitsch or kind of tropical cuz they are a eco friendly hotel and has a very nice decoration. The restaurant is the heart of the hotel and concentrates the action around Bidasoa’s spirit. Every room is different to the other by small details and there’s a small building with unique rooms that is the original hotel opened in the eighties, with a vegan and eco restaurant called casa Sanz honoring the family that owns this hotel. Curious fact, the grandsons of the founder lives in...

Probably not the fanciest Hotel in Santiago, but it sure is the COOLEST. Great vintage looks, big and comfy rooms, almost like sleeping in somebody's guest room instead of a hotel. Big highlight on the staff, very kind and thoughtful. The restaurant is quite a happening in Santiago. Outstanding food and wine in a great and relaxed vibe. Try the salmon and the Hemp Pizza, have a glass of chardonnay and enjoy the ride. Santiago is a very pleasant surprise and this hotel is the perfect companion to your adventure.
