Happy Land Guest House — Hotel in Hong Kong

Stayed for 6 nights last December 2018:

Security 3/5 - Building got enough staff monitoring the area. Guesthouse, no staff at night still they have working CCTV. Double lock available. Please remember you are mainly responsible for your own personal safety.

Room 4/5 - We stayed in room #7, corner room with two beds. Expect a small space, small toilet. It is enough for us.

Location 5/5 - Strategic place: near MTR, near Star Ferry Terminal, near China Ferry Terminal, near A21 bus stops (#13/#14 from Airport) (#5 to Airport)

Cleanliness 4/5 - The room is generally clean, yet don't expect hotel standard. Everyday they change bedding and towels. Mothballs, they put it but you can request to remove.

Customer Service 5/5 - Good in communication (English), responsive, accommodating.

This guesthouse is quite small with only 9 rooms. The rooms are small which is normal for Hong Kong. However, they do have rooms with full size beds and twin beds. I just wish the bathroom were roomier with a separate shower instead of the toilet, sink and shower in a confined 1 square meter space with a flimsy door on it. The rooms was fairly clean and met my needs. Now, the building where this is located really needs a major refurbishment as the floors are hopelessly dirty and dingy from lack of good maintenance.
