Subpar food, extremely horrible service staff.

Food: for a restaurant that pride themselves for its “popular coverages” on good Macanese food - they served stale and soggy Portuguese egg tarts during peak dinner period. I dare say the tart served at KFC is much better and definitely crispier. Their soupy dishes were served on a asymmetrical warp-sided bowl. Dishes were spilling over the moment it was served.

Service: I consider myself local enough to be used to Hong Kong’s brash and snappy culture. But I’ve encountered the worst ever here. And it was embarrassing as I had guests from different countries with me. When I commented to the staff that the egg tarts we ordered weren’t fresh (having had them years back) - the staff retorted back that they just took it out from the pastry warmer. To make things worse, he hastily said if we don’t want them he’ll just cancel it and then dumped them right behind us. The fact that he never offered to give new ones or alternatives is very telling that the rest of the tarts are the same quality.

We also ordered crispy buns which were served after the tarts. The moment the staff served it, he dumped it on our table and taunted us to “eat it quickly before you complain again that it’s cold” more than once, and rove around our table like a vulture.

In the meantime he continued to dump dishes forcefully behind where we sat, clearly to agitate us.

This whole experience has left an awful taste in my mouth. I’m sorry I have to make this ugly here as there’s no proper contact channel to voice this unpleasant experiences .The fact that there wasn’t a higher management available on site or an email to contact reflects poorly on such an establishment that suppose to provide quality as compared to many local mom...

I came here after 9pm and there were plenty of tables available. All I ordered were dan tat and pork cheeks, but those two items alone are enough to lure me back. They were so good! The dan tat are large, rich and creamy (I believe there is a discount for buying three), and the pork cheeks are so tender, but have a nice crisp on the outside. The side of cold pickled veggies that came with the pork cheeks did not look appetizing because there was cold grease floating around in it, but I ate it nonetheless because I like how the pickled veggies pair with the flavor of the pork. The pork cheeks also come with a sweet chili dipping sauce, but the pork is so good...

Only reason for me to visit will b the milk tea, it was on my first day of arrival, kinda hungry, so no choice, need some food to feed my hunger stomach, tried their pork chop fried rice (signature) but taste normal, means normality would be their signature, order another beef curry, been expecting an Ala carte but it came wif rice omg..... Taste good but too much coconut milk which is not good overall, acceptable overall if u got nothing to try anymore just go in a get anything u like it might b normal but who know suprise...
