Biohotel Organic Suites Bogotá — Hotel in Bogota, Capital District

My wife Joanne and I had an absolutely wonderful time at Biohotel and we highly recommend anyone reading this review to choose this establishment when visiting Usaquen in Colombia. Our trip started out by being warmly and professionally greeted by Pilar the Guest Service Coordinator (apologies as I when I was going to take her picture I was told that she was off on those days) and Karen & Laura (see picture 1). In the reception area after checking in, we were again warmly and politely greeted by Christian Monroy (see picture 2) who took us to our room and made us feel ooh so welcome. Throughout our stay we were taken care of by Jose (see picture 3), Ramon and Ridrigo (see picture 4), Joani (see picture 5) and Jorge (see picture 6). All of these staff members treated us like family and we loved them as such. Jose did everything from fixing our bathroom sink to help us with the scheduling of the timing of the use of the amazing roof top Jacuzzi. Ramon guided us as to how to see the city and gave us directions to the beautiful and immaculate “Parroquia Nuestra Senora de Torcoroma” church and the Ara and Carulla supermarkets located nearby. Joani always had a bright and warm smile and also helped us with our room. In the mornings, we were taken care of by the dining manager Wilmar (see picture 7) and our inspirational and witty attendant Elbert (see picture 8). By the way, the breakfast is delicious with a wide variety to choose from, from eggs, soup and food to fruit, pastry, bread and dessert. Walk with a coat though, it’s cold (9 degrees Celsius) in the mornings. Back in our room, Janet (see picture 9) kept our space clean and tidy while we were pampered by Natalia (see picture 10) in the Spa on the T floor. All in all, we had a wonderful time at Biohotel, it is safe, the staff are loving and caring, the rooms are spacious and clean with breath-taking views and it’s a 5-minute walk from the main city. This is our third time visiting and will return when next we visit Usaquen....

Our stay at the Biohotel Organic Suites was Amazing, it was made possible by loving and caring staff like:||Ms. Pilar, Deiviex, Karen and Andres at the front desk.||Ramon (who was always helpful, giving us tip about the city and giving us directions to the nearby park and church) Joanie, Jose (who once came immediately to fix our leaking sink) and Christian Monroy in the lobby.||Patricia, Elberth, Wilbur, Rrrrronaldo, Joni, Eduardo, Jorge, Heidi and Santiago at the Breakfast Lounge where they prepared delicious and wonderful meals.||Diane and Daniella at housekeeping who took fabulous care of us with clean towels and many other amenities.||Maria at the Bio Department.||William in Maintenance.||Sandra and Natalie in the Comfort and Massage Lounge (best massages and health tips and helped us with the amazing rooftop jacuzzi and gym).||All of these staff members treated us like family and attended to our every need by going above and beyond the call of duty to make us feel at home. Great hotel. Amazing staff, from the front desk, restaurant, housekeepers, bar, front lobby/butler, all great. Great fresh breakfast with your eggs ordered your way. Fresh fruits, different juices, cheeses as well. Also, desserts! Whoever the hotel had some maintenance issues with one of the elevators. Jacuzzi was under service. Also, with the humidity control unit as there is no A/C (apparently not needed in Bogota) so we had to crack the window open (to about 6 inches in the top) to get some fresh air since there are no ceiling fans with lights and only indirect light throughout. Beautiful bathroom but also only indirect light. This makes it difficult for us guys to shave and trim properly! LOL. The fan extractor over the toilet was not working. 🤢 The expresó machine needed service, and since it's an Italian machine, they weren't sure how long it was going to take. Overall, we'll stay there again as it was a lovely place with awesome staff and service! I'm sure they'll take care of these maintenance...
