BrewPub Rooftop — Restaurant in Bogota, Capital District

We ordered the ribeye and the meat was good quality but they didn’t put any seasoning. The papas criollas were okay, the mojitos were really bad, they lacked mint and lime… they were extremely sweet 😕 just disappointing as they are not cheap (13 U$ each) I was expecting good quality drinks... I asked for lime to try to fix them and they brought the thinnest slice of lime I have ever been given in Colombia. On top of that they included the service and didn’t ask if that’s okay. In Colombia we don’t tip, not even the way Europeans would, tipping culture is not a thing here. I checked the bill and I asked since when do we include tips and the waiter said since always. I told her it wasn’t right, I am Colombian and I had never been charged for service at a restaurant, lately some places ask if it is okay to include the tip, then she ignored me and asked my partner in English if he would like to tip. There are way better places in this area. There is nothing special about this place regarding food and the cocktails were terrible. Hugo was extremely kind...

Great atmosphere, good service, decent drinks, okay food. You just have to come experience this place. It has live music, which makes a big difference. There is an outdoor section with a beautiful view of the city. I decided to sit inside on regular chairs because the bar stools at the outside tables were uncomfortable. The soup was really delicious and reminded me of chicken tortilla soup. The fried seafood was over breaded and the calamari in the mix was inedible (too tough from being overcooked, and it had a weird ginger flavor). I tried peeling off the thick breading to eat the seafood meat underneath. I left at least half of the fried seafood dish behind because it just wasn't that great. Still worth coming and I will be back to try something...

Let's start with the positive, the place is amazing, the view and the vibe, the music was what I liked the most, live rock music,it was a very talented band, it was confy, the beer delicious. Now the negative, it took like an hour to get our food served, they mixed the orders, they served two plates first and then 30 minutes later the others, my friend asked for a meat burger but they served a vegetarian burger, they change the burger but they came back saying that it was actually a meat burger. So, I recommend the place to have some beers and have a good conversation with your friends while you hear good rock, but I definitely do not recommend to...
