This definitely one of the most welcoming and warm hostels because of the hosts. Hands down to their amazing hospitality, going out of their way to help you and feel you are looked after, not just another guest coming through the door. The price is fantastic and what you get in return is a HOME for you to stay. Large Kitchen where we all gathered for breakfast in the morning made by the hosts and in the evening allt he guests would gather here to make their meals and chat. So really felt all the positive warm vibes here. Great location if you want to me in EL CENTRO or CANDELARIA. The only reason I dropped one star was because the room (private room) I stayed in was very very cold at night due to the high ceilings and its an old colonial/beautiful house. The shower pressure was good and I had my clothes washed here and they looked new again - smellling fresh and soft. Also the breakfast here is more continental style but The owner through in some arepas one day which was great as some extra carbs helps to get the day started. Oh and its nice and quite at night so this is the place if you want a quiet, chilled, family type hostel. Not a party hostel at all which for me...
Read moreThe staff, especially the owner, were all very friendly and helpful. The owner even moved us to a nicer room just because it was empty, without us even having to ask! It was a very quiet hostel so not the best if you're looking for a party scene, but quiet was exactly what we wanted at the end of a long and busy trip. The location is right in the middle of La Candelaria, walking distance from all the most popular things to do in Bogotá. ||I would recommend asking for the upstairs dorm if there's open beds in it, because it had a great view and was much nicer than the other rooms (the other rooms were still clean and worth staying in, but not as special). There is hot water in the showers, but I couldn't get it to be any temperature in between scalding hot or freezing cold (that would be something to fix if the owners are reading this). Otherwise I completely recommend...
Read moreThis was one of my best stays in Colombia without a doubt! Well located in the "Candelaria Vieja" neighborhood, the building is an old Colonial Era house that was well rebuilt to serve the present Hostel. The rooms are spacious and cozy, the beds are super comfortable (made out as hotel beds!!), the bathrooms are very clean and hygienic, have nice hot showers, and they hand out towels as well. The basic Breakfast is decent, and you can choose to upgrade to one of their other breakfast for a moderate price if you want to. The best part is the owners that will put all of their effort to make your stay as comfortable as possible, make you feel at home and help you with anything you need! Overall, I would definitely recommend this hostel to anybody staying in Bogota! Thank you...
