When we entered the restaurant there were no other customers and it felt a bit weird so we decided to get take out. They didn’t want us to pay with credit card even though the sign on the door says they accept credit card. This is because they don’t want to pay the fees associated with credit cards. They didn’t tell us this until we had already ordered, had been waiting for a while, and we asked them. We didn’t have enough cash so they made us pay with everything we had and then put the last of it on credit card. They also charged us the service fee for our food to go… No other restaurant has done that here. The food itself was very small portions,mediocre and expensive for what we received. Read moreRecently, we had dinner at De Una Travel restaurant in the historic section of Bogota. It’s a small but mighty restaurant that delivers great beverages and dinner entrees. We had a few of the local gin and Pesco Sours. For dinner we had the chicken and beef pairing with a delicious pepper sauce - the flavors were amazing and the bees was so tender you could eat it with a spoon!The second main was a beef dish with bell peppers, and tomatoes accompanied by rice. This dish had tender beef and very fresh veggies in a light but tasty citrus sauce.

The fish chicarron is just a few pieces of breaded fish and squid, with no seasoning but a lemon/lime juice dip? The salad was quite plain.
