Motomachi is a hidden gem! It felt so homey, like I was in a small town in Japan. At first I was a bit confused because there were no signs, so I took a chance and rang the garage door bell and was let in! So a very safe and secure location, just ring the black doorbell.
The restaurant is very traditional style, quiet, and relaxing. Before I even ordered I was given complimentary side dishes, and green tea. This was already a good sign. Their menu is large and they serve Japanese and Korean food.
I ordered the Saba Shoyaki, a bowl of rice and the Agadashi tofu in Miso Soup. Everything was soo delicious and the Saba was huge. As I ate the manger/owner is this very sweet woman who made sure I had more kimchi and tea and even offered me more rice but I was soo full.
In the end, the bill was pricey but for the amazing quality, service and complimentary dishes I got it was very much worth it. Can't wait to take my friends here! Highly recommended for authentic...
