I can definitely not recommend ths hotel. Although it is quite new, the hotel is not ok.||||Where should i start?||||Room was clean, but lacks a minibar or fridge. Rooms are terribly noisy, walls are thin as paper. I could here people talking, showering, going to the toilet three rooms far. My room was next to the elevator, it was like the engine was hidden under my pillow. So if one guest wakes up, the whole hotel has to wake up.||Shower is very inconvenient. Windows cannot be blinded to dark.no place to put your trolley on.||||Breakfast is very poor for this price. Staff is unfriendly. I asked for hot chocolate evry day and the servant looked at me just like I was asking 10 million dollars from her personal account. ||||The staff in general is not friendly, but especially teh lady at the reception desk is acting like she is a director of a prison. (if you have seen the Matilda movie, she behaves like the director). No welcome, throing papers, sign here! sign there, without explanation. If you as something, she asks first personal information: 'Why are you going there?' ||My colleague, residing in an other residence, came over to urgently discuss some issues and she was refused access tot the hotel because of te fact she left her passport in her place. Then we wanted to go to my room (as officials we don't want to discuss political issues in public) and again the prisondirector refused! SHe always closes the door, so you cannot go in or out! ||And if you give a remark on that, she pretends not to hear and being deaf. |||| (right now, a guest of two rooms furthe start showering i wish i could let you hear the noise)||||So leave this hotel behind... they cannot go...

Liked · The staff at the front desk were very kind and helpful. They very nicely addressed all my requests, whether they were related to my searches for cabs, to my questions about safety in certain areas of the city, or to issues with the airline which broke my luggage on the way to Bogotá. The room was clean, well-equipped (e.g. numerous shelves, safe, armchair, towels, shower cap) and full of light. The bedsheets, pillows and mattress were clean and comfy. The breakfast was good and sufficient for me, although I wish coffee were served more generously. The hotel was well located and at a walking distance from many cool restaurants, bars and coffee shops in Chapinero and Quinta Camacho.
Disliked · The rooms are not sound-proof at all. I unfortunately had an extremely rude and loud neighbor during my last night at the hotel, and I couldn't sleep, as I basically heard his entire phone conversations...
Read moreWe stayed here for 3 nights as a couple on vacation. ||The hotel is as expected for a 3-star hotel. This was a simple budget hotel. Our room was simple but spacious, and the bed was reasonably comfortable. There was a lot of storage space. A hair dryer, towels, and shampoo/soap are provided.||The front desk reception was friendly, but only one of their staff members spoke English. We were able to get by with our limited Spanish. ||The hotel is conveniently located in the Chapinero neighborhood with many nice bars and restaurants within walking distance. ||The breakfast included eggs, an assortment of fruit, cereals, yoghurt, toast, arepas and empanadas, as well as coffee and juice. ||The only downside to the room was that it was rather cold at night. The room was also quite humid and damp, and so when our clothing and bags got wet from the rain, it did not dry in time.||Overall I would recommend this hotel if you are on a budget, and aren’t too picky about it being...
