Bagatelle — Restaurant in Bogota, Capital District

Kind service yet, the prices should be a quarter for what we received, using a fancy expensive ingredient is not a excuse for poor cuisine techniques, and even the simplest dishes were in terrible conditions the "caldo de costilla" was the worst i had in my life. Has the owner tasted the restaurant dishes ?

Soggy probably reused French fries, poorly executed fried eggs this is.... The libanese were mediocre the arab bread cold just as it were served from a bag of generic breads, the "caldo" was probably reheated SEVERAL times

The baggette was, afterall, despite the other issues, one of the best i had... it's sad how all the other things were so bad, it really deserves reevaluating your changes... what happened with you guys? I'm not returning back

La experiencia en este restaurante fue terrible, el día 21 de diciembre me encontraba buscando un café para trabajar e iba con mi esposa y mi perrita. Antes de entrar preguntamos si eran dog-friendly y me dijeron que si, pero solo en la terraza. A lo cual no vi problema porque estaba haciendo un día soleado. Mientras me encontraba trabajando noté que el ambiente de trabajo es bastante hostil, un mesero nuevo se equivocó en algo y un compañero de el le decía que si lo volvía a hacer le iba a dar un cachetadon, me causó mucha impresión porque pensé que se lo decía en tono jocoso, pero le estaba hablando muy serio. No preste atención y seguí trabajando. Empezó a llover y empecé a sentir un olor a agua de cañería, cuando volteó a mirar a mi alrededor había una gotera que parecía una cascada y estaba casi toda la terraza inundada, mi perrita se estaba mojando, a lo cual preguntamos que si nos podíamos hacer adentro del establecimiento y me dijeron que no era posible por lo que tenía un perro, y una mesera empezó a acomodar la mesa en un lugar que no cayera gotera, pero el sitio estaba totalmente inundado. Al final decidimos irnos del lugar y para nuestra sorpresa a otra persona que venía con perro si le pudieron acomodar una mesa adentro. Cuando fuimos a pagar seguimos notando que el ambiente de trabajo es bastante hostil, como había mencionado anteriormente, nuestro mesero que se notaba que era nuevo estaba pidiendo ayuda a la cajera porque no sabía utilizar el datáfono, y la señora siempre le contestaba con tres piedras en la mano y no le ayudaba a solucionar. Yo espero de un lugar pet-friendly que si te estas mojando en una terraza sean capaz de acomodarte algo en un lugar cálido y seco y no en mitad de la lluvia y que al final toque salir a mojarse en medio de un aguacero terrible porque no fueron capaces de acomodarte en un mejor lugar. Para terminar si la terraza que tienen no está adecuada para la lluvia no deberían poner gente ahí, estuvimos muy de buenas que no nos cayera la gotera encima o de...

Small, quaint, somewhat expensive restaurant/tea room (you can get the bread and drinks cheaper at the bakery on the next street block).

However, the menu is varied and you get items not found at the average Bogota bakery or restaurant. The ambiance is, also, quite "posh". So, if that's your scene...this is the place to go to have a meal or high tea with friends and/or family.

Word to the wise, if you can... it's best to walk there. The last 2 times I went to Bagatelle, I paid aprox. the same amount for parking as I did...
