You can tell the rooms are dated, but the bed was comfortable, softer than I prefer but honestly did not end up bothering me at all. The paint on the wall was peeling in the corners. You need to ask for a key to the security locker (it's old school but works).||There's no elevator so be prepared to walk up a flight of stairs (all rooms are on a single floor). The door to your room is a push lock, and you need a physical key to unlock it. The main entrance door uses a keycard though so hopefully that's a future update.||The bathroom!!! if you're slightly overweight or on the heavier side, I would suggest staying somewhere else. I'm a skinny 6'2 dude and barely fit in the bathroom. If you're using the toilet, you might hit your head on the sink. The shower was probably the smallest I've seen.||No hand soap, you use body wash as your hand soap. Luckily I kept some alcohol||The sink faucet spout? turned when you turned on the water (needs to be tightened up).||Overall I think it was decent enough for a few nights. If you're sensitive to noise, stay somewhere else; there's street noise till early morning (maybe 3/4 am).||Improvements need to be made but overall it's do-able. If you want to compare it to another motel - maybe Motel 6 would be the closest comparison.||Breakfast is at a coffee shop around the corner.||Staff is friendly and helpful. They're just put into this small space in the back of the hall; not really much of a reception space for the person working, felt bad.||Would I stay again - I wouldn't say it's a hard no, it is possible; but would really have to think about it, that bathroom was the tiniest I've ever seen. ||If you're not bothered by noise, tiny bathroom and just need to pass out for a bit, it's...
Read moreThe good: ||The location is perfect. It's inside the city walls and within walking distance of everything. They have another hotel 10 minutes away on the beach, and you can use the pool facilities for free. This gives you the best of both worlds (city location + beachside hotel experience). Our room was clean, and the staff were really nice. They give you a free coffee which you can redeem in a coffee shop around the corner. ||||The bad: ||I booked a balcony room specifically for the balcony, but they told us it was unavailable when we arrived because the previous guest had decided to extend their stay. As compensation, they offered us free breakfast in their coffee shop a block away. There was one full day without electricity in the hotel which was obviously annoying because we couldn't charge our devices, and it was very hot without air conditioning. Also, the bathroom...
