Eurostars Marqués de Villalta — Hotel in Cartagena

This was m sixth visit to Cartagena, but my first stay at the Marques de Villata, I noticed the hotel on my last visit in January 2020, it had just opened, I decided it was ideally located for my next visit, I was not disappointed.||||We had a long stay at the hotel and enjoyed every minute. The hotel is very well situated within the walled city. The rooms are large, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our bathroom was large with a good shower. There is also a roof top swimming pool.|||| Breakfast was included in our stay and there was a good variety of well presented, well cooked food.||||Special mention must go to the Front Desk Reception, Rafael, Frank, Danello and Stella were incredibly helpful and patient with us, giving help to book excursions and, answering our many questions. Hi guys my name is Patrick fleming and I would just like to say my stay at Eurostars Mary's de Villalta was absolutely amazing the staff was very friendly and helpful. I woke up late one day for my excusrsion and Luz the woman at the front desk saved my trip and I was able to make it sorry if I pronounced your name wrong. Christian also one of the front desk workers was chill and friendly. I would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to anyone traveling. Also I forgot her name sorry boss lady but the manager of the establishment very beautiful young woman with glasses was also amazing and welcoming to me and my brothers first trip to colombia. We spent 3 nights at this property. This hotel opened in October 2019. Good size rooms and shower🚿 pressure. North American sized washrooms. Only drawback is most rooms have no real exterior windows i.e. a small window that opens into the courtyard or hotel hallway. They do have limited rooms with windows that open. It does have a rooftop 25 meters lap pool 🏊‍♀️ with washrooms, deck chairs and outdoor shower. They have a set up for an outdoor bar, however it wasn’t in fonction when we were there. The staff is young and eager to please. A special thanks to Karol for securing us an excellent room, number 104, and thanks to Felipe and Elvis for the local advice and attentive service.
