La Naval Hotel. — Hotel in Cartagena

My boyfriend and I had a difficult time finding reviews for affordable hotels and hostels. So, we landed up hopping in a cab straight from the airport, taking the cab driver's place on a recommendation of where to stay. And he drove us to the door step of La Hotel Navel. This was a basic place to stay where we both felt pretty safe leaving our valuables during the day and sleeping at night. The room was simple, but did have clean linens, air conditioning, and cable. The bathroom was a small, and the shower curtain did not cover the entire stall and would create a small flood every time we'd shower, but it wasn't horrible. Hey, at least we got out own bathroom. It was in a great area of town, within walking distance of both the new and old cities.||||One thing, I would like to mention is that, on one of our last days there (we stayed a week) we woke up with a few more bugbites then we went to sleep with. We're still not entirely sure if the bites are from the room, because the room did appear to be pretty clean. Ehh, we'd stay there again, maybe sleeping with our socks on at night!||||All and all it was a great deal for less than $50...

Hotel is good. Clean and AC. SOME rooms are with AC others without. Price is 95,000 and 80,000 for each. Price is only for room. It's located in front of naval base at the entrance of boca grande. We stayed there as a couple for 4 nights in a double with fan. The room is not spacious but clean and well furnished.
