Guest House Luce, Dubrovnik — Hotel in Dubrovnik

We stayed here for two nights in June.||||Housekeepers English isn't great but we managed to communicate.||||The car park is up an extremely steep and bendy lane, then turn right and drive down a narrow lane at the back of the accommodation. This is extremely tight to drive into (we hired a 5 door Golf GTI). If you can get a space, parking is free opposite the supermarket and so much less stressful to park.||||To find the accommodation ..........its easier to walk up the lane shown in the photos. This is on the right just past the supermarket next to some garages, Luce is up the top, the last door on the left.||||We were greeted on arrival with a welcome and a smile and offered refreshments. Two cold beers was a lovely gesture and went down a treat!||||The accommodation is approx. 15 min walk from Old Dubrovnik if you go left or 15 min walk to the harbour if you go right. Both directions are a little tough when coming back due to the steps from Old town and steep road from the harbour. There are however two buses that you can catch. no3 & no8. Buses run from outside the old town (15 kuna) and one of these goes to the harbour first so don't be alarmed.....taxi wanted 70 kuna ||||Our room was lovely and clean, a good air conditioning unit and spacious. ||||I would recommend staying here and would not hesitate to...

Perfect place to be away to stay in lovely and busy Dubrovnik. |Location is lovely, host is lovely. Short walk to the beach, Uber service cheap and available from every place in Dubrovnik. |If you looking for a place to spend a nice time it’s a proper guest house. |Luce the host is the best host in the world. Welcomed us with the jug of cold drinks and cup of coffee. On the leaving day she let us leave the luggage in one of her rooms after check out in the morning and let us come back when we were ready for further journey|Sweet place the feel like at home |Happy to come back in the future |JUSTYNA and...

we arrived late at night and Luce was still there to greet us with apple juice. She also assisted us with a map and directions. The room was good with a spacious bathroom. ||we just struggled to find the place - check the street name and number carefully - it's actually an alleyway with stairs. there is also no name on the door but a red rose :) ||we had two good pasta and pizza meals at affordable prices at mea culpa in the old town. we wanted to take the bus but actually if you don't mind the stairs it is not so far to...
