Two Friends Dubrovnik Palace, Dubrovnik — Hotel in Dubrovnik

The staff (Anita and Ana) were so friendly and helpful and communicated by text/email before we arrived. We had an early flight and Ana greeted us and showed us to the apartment at 11.30am and it was ready! She was brilliant and gave us a great guide to Dubrovnik. ||||Uber from the airport was about £20. Our driver dropped us at Buza gate and Ana met us. The distance to the property is not very far but it is a really difficult walk up and down ancient slippy stone steps with luggage! ||||Accommodation in the Old Town is very rare and obviously is limited space-wise. The room is cramped, as expected. However the decoration is very classy & simple. ||||The air con is great - we left it on all day so apartment was cool when we came back but didn't use it as night as the way it is angled it leaves one person directly underneath absolutely freezing! ||||We had the room on the 1st floor with the balcony, with wonderful views! However this is difficult to get to as you have to clamber through a window to get out! We stayed 4 nights at Two Friends fantastic studio apartment the Old Town. Situated in a quiet location (towards the back wall) and only a short walk to the Stradun (main strip) with many great restaurants nearby, our room was modern, clean and had everything we needed for our stay including a small kitchenette, comfy bed and powerful air-con which was such a blessing in the Summer heat. The Studio room we stayed in also had a number of windows with old-town city views, I had to pinch myself every morning when I woke up it was so beautiful!||Our host Maja was fantastic and went out of her way to help us during our stay. there is no hotel inside city walls. and Dubrovnik is not cheap. Two Friends is against those. |it offers simple yet pretty apartment and relatively affordable. |like any other accomodation inside the wall, you need to struggle with luggage. but move slowly and enjoy the surrounding, youll get there||Anita is a fantastic host. all request and question are answered in seconds. we are given gifts such as wine, local drink and snack that i enjoyed much.
