Beware price swap? The food was good, we ordered fresh grilled fish and grilled octopus. Came combined on a platter with potato/spinach side and lettuce/tomato garnish. We also ordered a beer and water. 2 stars because it’s was not 790 Kuna or $105USD good. Nor was the location worth the up price. It was within the old city but in a charming alley, no in the main drag, no view, nothing extra to justify the price. When we looked at the menu it said something like 220/$30 for the grilled fish and 180/$25 for the grilled squid, the spinach/side included. Does that mean the remaining $50 came from a single beer and bottle water and perhaps tax and gratuity? We weren’t shown the receipt breakdown just the credit card transaction. We’re from San Diego and $50 a plate is usually from a really nice dress up restaurant. I knew prices in Dubrovnik would be inflated but still generally cheaper than Italy or Spain. This was just us being taken advantage of. When I go to the online menu to verify the price, it doesn’t list any prices. Red flag when prices are not there right away. Just glad the food was actually tasty. Lesson learned don’t be afraid to look cheap and clarify the price on their menu. Don’t be afraid to stay no to bottled water when you already have your own. I would go back but def pay more attention. But during our 4 day...

I had the pleasure of enjoying a beautifully prepared selection of seafood – fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection with just the right balance of herbs and seasoning.
The fish was another highlight – grilled just right, with a crispy skin and tender, juicy flesh that melted in the mouth. To elevate the experience, I paired the meal with a top-quality Sauvignon from Plešivica, a truly excellent Croatian white wine that was aromatic, crisp, and perfectly chilled – a delightful surprise.
The atmosphere was relaxed and genuine, without any unnecessary fuss – just good food, good wine, and warm hospitality. The staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to offer recommendations when needed.
