We stayed in Hvar for 3 nights in the Apartments Stefica. We were informed in advance that there was a problem with our original room and so we had been upgraded to a one bedroom apartment. The location of the apartments is a little out of the way of the main town and requires a 15 minute walk to the main shops, restaurants and the bay. The apartment itself was very spacious and the balcony had an absolutely fabulous sunset view over the bay. The room was quite clean, with towels provided and the kitchen was well equipped. The wifi was quite temperamental and difficult to connect to, but the balcony view was so amazing we spent our free evenings gazing out at the sea drinking wine or Croatian beer. The layout of the apartments is quite odd, as the bathroom of the neighbouring apartment was adjoined on to our balcony, and we found that sound travelled through the walls, but it wasn't too much of a problem.||||The family seemed nice and offered a professional service, and they lent us a bottle opener for our stay. They also provide bike hire if you wish to partake in such an activity. The apartment is quite reasonably priced, as we found Hvar to be one of the more expensive locations in Croatia. ||||In summary, I would recommend these apartments for those staying on a budget, in particular those with a sea view balcony (which are more expensive). Read more😊: Everything was perfect for us! The host is the loveliest man ever, explained all the best beaches/shops to go to, and when my friend stood on a sea urchin he was so quick to help us with a needle. The apartment was so so spacious, and the terrace we had so lovely for tanning and eating while watching the sunset. Kitchen was fully equipped and bathrooms nice too, plus bedrooms were massive. Air con was so good too!. 😢: Nothing! (The walk up from the harbour isn’t for the weak but...
