We stayed here for two nights in July - was trying to book something else but all the popular places were full by the time we booked in April. Out of desperation we decided to go for this place based on one review on tripadvisor - and this leap of faith proved to be a really good choice made.||||This place is situated near the ferry terminal of Hvar Town (DO NOT take the ferry to Hvar Stari Grad, else it will be a detour to get back to Hvar town). Mirko the owner was very kind to pick us up from the ferry pier. Be sure to give him a call when you arrive (that's a usual practice for pick-ups of all the B&B owners). I made the free phone call from Hotel Riva which is a few steps down the ferry pier. Within 10 minutes Mirko came pick us up and drove us to his place. ||||It's a fair bit of a walk from his place to the town centre (estimated to be around 20 minutes - possibly why it's not as popular as some other B&Bs), but the view was absolutely stunning from the balcony outside of the room we were assigned to. The room was well-appointed with A/C and clean bathroom.||||This place is definitely decent for its price (we paid 25 euros pp / night, shared bed). It may be a bit off beaten tracks but Mirko has been very helpful and willing to go an extra mile. It will be a bit tough walking around with the intense heat of summer but if you are going in non-summer seasons, a stroll down to town can be very pleasant.||||Thanks again to Mirko for making our stay in Hvar a...
Read moreI stayed here for 4 nights while travelling through Croatia for three weeks with my boyfriend. It is a family run business with them staying in the houe just off of the apartments. It is by far my favourite place that I stayed in croatia. The family are friendly but kept to themselves so that it was still lovely and relaxing .all rooms are very modern and spacious. we had a room with a gorgeous view overlooking the ocean with all the ships passing. It was very quiet, had great air con and a balcony to sit on in the evenings. The only downside is that it was a shared kitchen with the other apartments, but the upside is that the eating area was a lovely balcony also overlooking the sea. The house itself is very uphill just to be aware of when booking, but all areas in hvar are uphill. strenuous but can be walked to. Would stay here again, really enjoyed it and had a lovely relaxing time, thank you to everyone at...
Read moreWe stayed 3 nights and had one of the front rooms with large balcony. The hosts very very friendly & helpful and the room was clean. Really liked the communal kitchen & dining area which would be great for groups travelling together. We ate at the local bars and restaurants which are just down the steps as we found the town centre a little busy and loud for our liking. There is a nice beach about 30mins walk away (quicker if you go down the hill side) there is also a nearby supermarket & bakery. ||||We left our camera at a local restaurant & our hosts kindly picked it up & posted it back to us which was extremely kind of them & just reiterates the level of personal & homely service we got||||Point to note - Make sure you request pick up from ferry port as the local taxi service charges 100kuna (approx£10) as set price which was a big rip off to get from the town to the accomadation max...
