My friend and I have been travelling for a month before we came across this wonderful hostel situated in likely the quietest, least touristy area of an admittedly touristy island. This hostel is feels like a house and the owner is so lovely; when we arrived he had just adopted a week old kitten and was bottle feeding it milk. We were offered a lot of free food from the owners and everyone we met was extremely friendly. The bedrooms and kitchen are comfortable and you genuinely feel like you are at home. Everyone there looks either stoned or drunk, hostel staff included (I know it's Hvar, but still...). They messed up my reservation and I ended on a different room. Once I entered the room it really smelled awful, the bed is not comfortable, the lockers are too small for a regular suitcase or backpack.
