We were in Pula just for one night attending a concert at the amphitheatre. The location was perfect, just a short walk yet also far enough away that it was peaceful (the concert was still going on when we left). The owner was lovely, super friendly and keen to offer advice on the best things to see and do in Pula and beyond. The apartments are on the first floor of a big, rather old, otherwise residential building which isn't the prettiest but don't let outward appearances put you off! The room was big, bright (yellow!) and spotlessly clean with a kitchenette and good shower. Read moreZona and his son are very kind. She and her son helped me to print a bus ticket from gmail even if I didnt stay her guest house at all. This experience gave me unforgetable warm impression about people in Croatia. She offered fresh fruits, grape and apple as well.
Even if I didnt stay her place, I am sure her guest house will offer best hospitality because I feel she has a value for people to support and care, especially travellers. When I come back Pula again, definitely I will stay her place.
