Restoran Momento — Restaurant in Grad Pula

Resturant maily focusing on attracting German tourists as their signs out front are written in German.

They were quite happy to get us seated quickly when they heard us reading the signs out front, but their attitude changed once they found out that we were infact domestic tourists.

We had 2x pancakes w/icecream which was delivered to us within ~3min, making us speculate if they were fresh or from a 'standby' batch

I requested coke as a drink but was informed they only stock large units, not the regular 330ml bottles you get from Cafes/resturants.

When it came time to pay, we stated we'd pay by card, Altho when we got to the eftpos unit, we were informed its no longer working and were requested to pay in cash, but wernt presented with a bill. It wasent until we asked about the bill that we were presented with the final amount we owed.

2x Pancakes came out to 80kn (17.24Aud, 10.70euro, 12.68 USD), You can get better value/pancakes a few steps away.

Maybe the waiter was having a bad day, biased against local tourists or just trying to squeeze out every last penny since the current tourist season is...

Momento is an absolute gem! The food is perfectly prepared – every dish looks like a little piece of art and tastes rich and well-balanced. Portions are generous, and the ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality. The staff is exceptionally friendly and professional, always ready to recommend something from the menu and make sure every guest feels taken care of.
