Food was simple but very tasty. (Chicken kebab & grilled veggies both with fried potatoes). Could have enjoyed a side salad or some sauce but we both finished our meals and enjoyed doing it even without any extras. Portions were large.
Service was very good & dynamic. It wasn't too busy at the time. Restaurant is cozy and has a lot of room. We were able to dine with our 4 months baby chilling in the baby -tram next to us.
In the end I found out that the check was a very pleasant surprise as the food&drinks were super affordable taking in consideration the location and summer season (July 2022). Even with a large tip i felt it was a bargain.
Room for improvement: Maybe it would be beneficial to add some side salads, sauces and extras. It definitely is a restaurant for meat-eaters as myself but it would have been extra amazing if there was more options for vegetarian/vegan people like my wife as well.
Will be back...
Read moreThis place was recommended to us by Boris our good Friend who is from the Region but now lives in Germany. The best Cevapcici i had in Croatia yet. Meat was super juicy and very good seasoned. Came fast and was hot. 9,5/10 for us. I know this sounds crazy, but the best overall and 10/10 i still had in Germany, Stuttgart in the Restaurant YAKOVA. Gezim and Otti are magicians with meat. Cant beat them. Noone ever will for me at least.
But if you are in Pula, Kod Kadre is an awesome place to eat. Its near the Arena and not very expensive even though it is in a tourist hotspot. We ate there with 6 people (2 of them kids) and had 8 dishes, a few side dishes, and a lot to drink and paid a total of 129 Euros. Money well spent i say.
Enough places to please more than a few Customers. Places have shadow (which is needed to escape the summer heat and sun) Recommend!!!...
Read moreWe walked in with high hopes since this is suppose to be the number one Čevapi in Pula. After reviewing several Čevapi places throughout croatia this ranks fairly high.
First, the meat was good really good. Ranks among the top we’ve tried. Maybe slightly more heat into the Čevapi to make number 1.
Second, The bread. We were dissatisfied of the bread. It was a bit to soft on the brink of being soggy. What makes up for it is that the kind tattooed waitress offered to redeem the bread with new bread. + for this.
Third, The onion. The onion was good but it could be slightly larger pieces to better combine the Čevapi.
To summarize this Čevapi experience at Kod Kadre. The service was really good, price was right but the onion and the bread could improve slightly to reach a 5 star. If I could give 4.5 I would. Here on google I will round...
