Rock Hostel Pula wa absolutely marvellous and you can tell that the people who designed it really put thought and care into maximising the guest experience. I was here for 4 nights, which is a pretty long stay by my usual travel standards as I wanted to wind down a bit, and could not have been happier with my time here. The hostel is brand new and the beds are big, wide and spacey, with socket chargers and night lights as well as a shelf to each bed, and curtains for privacy. I booked a 4 bed dorm, though had the entire room to myself as it was off season. Adil, the manager, went out of her way to be helpful and helped me plan a day trip to the Brijuni islands. The hostel is linked with one of the local bars there and you can head over and get a free rakia, which is only a plus. Location was good and everything is within 10 mins walking distance, including the bus station, the Forum which is right next to the hostel, the seafront, and the old town. Supermarkets and coffee shops are also in the vicinity, and if you want a change of diet or to save some money, there's a Maccy D's 5 mins away because we've all been there. Pula isn't large so everything is pretty compact and accessible. 10/10...
