Evala Luxury Rooms — Hotel in Grad Split

A nice hotel for the price, but with some room for improvement. I believe this is a relatively new hotel still finding its feet.

The positives: nice pool and hot tub friendly staff central location comfortable bed the hotel very kindly arranged for a laundry service during our stay

To be improved: check in could have been smoother - we waited for a while and had to call the landline in order to be seen and let in and nobody was around when we needed to check out; no breakfast within the hotel itself (breakfast was included within our online booking, so the hotel kindly arranged for us to have breakfast each morning across the street at Šug, but the options were limited and there was a shortage of ingredients) the bedroom was quite small with limited amounts of natural light. If you’re spending lots of time in the room, it can soon become stifling. If you’re planning to only use the room for sleeping, I don’t expect it will be an issue. I believe that other rooms are larger, so if you are staying for a few nights then ask for a larger room in advance. rooms aren’t soundproofed (but neither are many rooms in the city centre) lower quality toiletries (lavender is produced locally relatively cheaply so why not provide natural products?) the smart TV in the room wasn’t connected up so we weren’t able to use Netflix etc on the TV. Stayed in Evala in July as a group of 4 friends. This was one of the only accommodations we could find which was located centrally and had a pool.|Quality of bedrooms was amazing - it really felt luxurious and very clean. |Pool was great and we ended up spending all day upon arrival there before checking in. Staff couldn't be more helpful and were making us some wonderful cocktails. |Very good air conditioning, comfortable beds.|One thing I must mention is when we left our luggage pre-checking in by the piano (where the security cameras are) unfortunately it appears that there is a bit of an ant problem. One of the girls in the group had a suitcase made out of material and ants managed to get in. We found an ant spray and this sorted the issue out but this is something to bear in mind - there were no ants in bedrooms but they must be in the outside area and can be brought into bedrooms with the luggage. |Would definitely still stay again and recommend this place - it was a great quality stay for a very reasonable price and staff make this place...

We booked Evala Luxury Rooms last minute after a trip to Brac for a wedding. Communication to organise the room and check in was quick and helpful. (Originally through Instagram but then on to WhatsApp).|We was also told our room would be available whenever we needed it from the date we left Bol. |We needed a base to explore the the city and Evala ticked all the boxes. It is about 2-3 minute walk to the city which was fantastic and saved on taxis etc. A huge factor for us was the pool and hot tub, our daughter enjoyed this very much. The rooms are beautiful and decorated to a high spec, shower room, kettle and mini bar available. There’s also a small offering for breakfast (it’s free!) warm croissants, coffee and juice. We loved that! Our flight back to the U.K. was late but Dino kindly allowed us use of the pool area until we was ready to leave. Split is a iconic city and Evala is a fantastic spot to stay...
