We stayed in two rooms for 2 nights in September 2019. Inna was so helpful from before we arrived - right througout our stay. She could not have done enough for us - including assisting with 3 separate transfers - including one in the middle of the night and assisting us to locate some lost luggage. She went above and beyond in getting one of her drivers to collect it from the airport for us in the nick of time before we left for the ferry to Hvar. Thanks Inna - we are sorry to have been such a pain the backside!||The rooms are loving and well kitted out. Much nicer than most we have seen in Croatia. The apartment building itself is pretty ugly and there are 3 flights of stairs to negotiate but well worth it to have a lovely haven directly opposite the old town. ||Split is VERY expensive and overun with cruise shio tourists in the palace during the day. We enjoyed Fig for breakfast and apperitifs. Great service and food. We also loved our meal around the corner from Fortuna at Sug. Really great food, atmosphere and service and MUCH better value than inside the palace. Skippers right at the end of the harbour is great for a view and a drink. We also loved a very long walk following the trails around the headland and up to the rocks were the locals swim.||You can also walk with luggage to the Ferry.||Great stay -...
Read morebooked this hotel as we needed one night in Split after coming back from Hvar and catching an early flight back home. booked through Hotels.com and it was easy to communicate with the host that way. she arranged for taxi to pick us up from Ferry as it was raining and I did not want to deal with Uber and getting wet at that time. cost was 100 Kuna. She was waiting at the door to greet us and a gentleman carried our suitcases up all those stairs. She showed us everything and how things work and how to contact her if we needed to. again through the hotels.com was very easy to message her. or obviously you could phone her. Place was great and modern with the most comfortable bed. bathroom and kitchen everything was great. It was clean however, compared to other spotless spaces we have stayed at in Croatia, it was 8.5 out of 10. Walking distance to everything and a great restaurant called Sug just around the corner which we found ourselves and the food was...
Read moreA dreadful experience. Firstly, this is NOT a hotel, it is a converted apartment in a residential block in a seedy part of town. There are no lights near the front door, which is covered in graffiti and one night there were two drug users sitting on the front steps.
All THREE of our rooms had hairs on the bedding!! One room’s shower also didn’t work. We contacted the property who were slow to offer any help so contacted our booking agent. The hotel owner then got angry we had escalated it to the agent! Also disgusting headboard in one room.
They eventually replaced bed sheets, didn’t fix the shower. And there is no place to leave luggage and we didn’t meet a single staff member during our stay.
Oh and last thing, they have the cheek to use Rituals Karma toiletries bottles, but refill it with some cheap nasty stuff!
Avoid at all costs! Sadly google algorithm doesn’t allow posting of the hairs on bedding!
Oh and and when we complained, they refused to...
