Bohem Prague Hotel — Hotel in Prague

A really cute little hotel, its clean and our room was exactly as pictures dipict!|Tram stop right outside, a big shopping centre down the road, and some cute restaurant/ cafe stops are a stones throw away, it really is an ideal base!||Our room was cleaned daily, the hotel is mostly selfservice so you don't often come across staff, but when we did they were super friendly and helpful!||Would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room, although I know that this isn't general for European hotels, and mostly only wanted by us British people.||The only gripes I had were with the organisation:|- Communication from the hotel was pretty minimal, and I had to chase a couple of times for answers on the run up to my stay.|- There is no clear direction on whether breakfast is included or additional.||And my next gripe is nothing to do with the hotel but something to be mindful of: there are major roadworks going on outside the hotel, it took our Uber over an hour to reach us, and even then that was because we walked to the main shopping centre to meet them. The works seem to stop earlier in the day, so won't stop you sleeping, but may well wake you up in...

The location was great — right across the road from a tram line that made getting to tourist attractions super convenient.

The room itself was okay. The bed wasn’t very sturdy and the pillows were quite uncomfortable — they felt almost disposable. I also wasn’t a fan of the grey towels and green bedding; I prefer white linens so you can clearly see they’re freshly cleaned. The curtains and blinds could definitely be improved, as they let in a lot of light early in the morning.

A few extra amenities would go a long way — a kettle, cups for personal use, and maybe a small fridge would really improve the stay.

Check-in was a little awkward. Make sure to check your email beforehand for the key box code, as the reception isn’t manned. Also be aware that access to the hotel is via lifts to the second floor, so keep that in mind if you prefer stairs.

Hotel was clean, stuff were polite and helpful, location is good. just keep few things in mind: 1.if u are traveling in summer, keep in mind rooms don't have air conditioning.. 2.it's a building that hotel is in one floor! It might be confusing at the beginning. call them before u arrive because if u arrive late (in my case 8pm)there is no one in front desk. 3.pigeons were flying and enjoying next to our room, so we couldn't open the windows because early in the morning they would wake us up. 4.breakfast is so simple and repetitive. Don't expect "hotel kind of breakfast". coffee could be better.

Overally it worth the money and I will go back there.

Edit: I came back to the hotel this year2020. Now They have air conditioner for all rooms The breakfast is warm and nice coming from a kitchen. It was delightful. Great job...
