Recently stayed at this hotel for three nights and found it to be a decent experience overall. The rooms were a good size, and I appreciated the heavy dark curtains that effectively blocked out light. However, the beds were too soft for my liking, which resulted in some stiffness and made it difficult for me to get a good night's sleep. Another odd feature was the blue, shiny laser-like light from the kitchen counter light, which was somewhat distracting. Additionally, I found it a bit unusual that no cleaning service was provided during the stay; it was chargeable at €10 if you needed it. I managed without it, but it still felt a bit odd not to have regular cleaning. On the positive side, the kitchenette was equipped, although I didn’t end up using it during my stay. The location is a plus, as it’s less than a five-minute walk to the tram stop with direct connectivity to the city center. Additionally, I had a smooth check-in experience at the reception, which made the arrival process pleasant. Overall, while there were a few drawbacks, the hotel offered a decent stay with convenient amenities.

Everything. Not one of the 13 photos of the apartment was the one we received. The apartment is on level -1, meaning the basement, with an elevator only going up to ground floor. Entering it smells musty. One room with a kitchenette and a door to a restroom with mechanical ventilation, which doesn't help. While eating breakfast, you can smell the residents' odors. The windows and their placement resemble a prison, with diagonal walls that can be opened with an electric switch. I wonder how the supervisor perceived this. What if there was a fire? How would you escape? A disaster. The cleanliness in the shower is unsatisfactory, with visible mold near the silicone. In the room, it's on the ceiling. After all, it's a basement. It's a tragedy. Firstly, the apartment I booked doesn't match what we received; there was no information about it being a basement. Secondly, the smell of damp, dirt, and the ubiquitous flies, spiders, and silverfish are unacceptable.

I’ll start with the bad. The noise with the windows open is too much. They need to be open though as there is no aircon. That’s it though. The location is good, short walk to a shopping centre with loads of places to eat and shop. The shopping centre is also the place to get the underground train and trams to anywhere in the city. The apartment had a kettle, oven, hobs, kitchen sink and a washing machine. The bathroom had a shower (with a curtain that sticks to you), a sink and a toilet. The bed was actually two single mattresses instead of a double but it was big. The whole place looked and felt clean and check in and out was simple.

Stayed here for a month during March 2023, had a room on the 6th floor(under the roof) so here's my thoughts.. Good: Price/quality is good, the rooms are new, spacious and with well equipped kitchen (a microwave would finish it though). Room was clean on arrival and common area's like hallways/stairs/elevator are cleaned multiple times a day. Bed was very good Shower is decent size and clean 55" 4K TV Staff is very friendly (only reception speaks English), though with the contactless check-in/-out, you basically don't have to see anyone during your stay if you don't want. Public transport is a 3 minute walk from the hotel, worked perfectly, runs every few minutes and fairly cheap. Good way to get around Prague quickly (download the PID Litacka app, it's all you need for getting tickets/schedules/etc). I did most on foot though, Prague is fairly small. There is a huge shopping mall at 3 minute walk from the hotel, including a giant Tesco supermarket and fitness company, everything you need. Enough places to eat close by, and food delivery is hot in Prague so you can order-in as well. Charles bridge is a 25 minute walk from the hotel. I liked the Praha5 district where the hotel is located.

Bad: It can be noisy, footsteps, loud tv's, arguments, drunk people coming back in the middle of the night, etc.. It'll wake you up if you're a light sleeper. Some of the walls seem to be thin drywall only. Especially around the weekends it's busier in the hotel. There were a few extreme noise cases during my stay. Cleaning is only upon request and costs 10,- euro. I did the cleaning myself, easy with a washing machine in the room. The payment for my month stay went wrong due to an error on their end (currency conversion) and cost me an additional 5%, it never got sorted in the end. Parking will cost you 20 euro per day, and is in a different location. Parking just is a general problem and expensive in whole of Prague so i don't blame the hotel. With the tram/metro at 3 mins from the hotel, you won't need a car. I parked mine in Prague17 district outside the center where it is free parking, took a tram back to the hotel. There is a construction site next to the hotel, can be some noise at times but nothing too serious. Looked like most work will be done in 1-2 months from now (March 2023).

Advice for hotel/visitors: bring earplugs (see the noise part) I wish every guest would get at least 2 access cards for their room. The amount of times I got woken up due to people knocking on doors to get in during all times of the day/night, countless.. A microwave on the room would have been nice. The fridge is 2m from your bed, fridges make noise at certain times. I unplugged mine during the night.. Rooms with a washing machine should have a drying rack by default, I got one after I asked for it though. the chairs in the room are very basic, not very suited if you're working in your room on a laptop for extended periods a day.

Would I return in the...

I would like to review the Figaro Suites in great detail because I think it deserves it. ||First of all: I had a problem, which the owner of the hotel solved in a more than generous way (I don't want to write details because others shouldn't always expect this). ||Thank you so much!||For that alone the accommodation would have earned 10 out of 10 points. ||But everything else here is also really great: ||The Figaros are only 5 minutes away from the shopping center ANDEL and the Metro B, which takes you to the city center in just a few minutes (it would be also a nice walk).||It was my first time booking accommodation on this side of the Vltava river and I am totally satisfied because it is a very nice residential area with a popular mall and all the shops (for example: XXL Tesco until midnight) and other amenities. ||The house itself is probably Art Nouveau and it is designed very interestingly inside, so that each floor has a few suites. ||And here's the highlight: my suite was in the attic with cozy wooden sloping ceilings, a kitchenette, table and chairs, a really very comfortable bed (perfect!), a large flat screen with Amazon Prime, Netflix and much more - and a bathroom with daylight(!!!)!||Bed linen and towels were bright white. ||While you can unfortunately often find carpets in Prague, there is much more hygienic laminate here. ||It's possible that these attic rooms are very warm in summer - but I was there for 4 nights around September 22nd and it was GOOD (there would be also a ventilator).. ||Conclusion: I travel very, very often and therefore I always set a price limit for myself when it comes to hotel costs.||When it comes to price/offer, this accommodation is hard to beat - and I say that as someone who has already made hundreds of bookings.||I will definitely come back (I even didn't want to leave :-)||That's why I give it a loving 14 out of 10...

I Felt humiliated.

One of the worst experiences i had in my life and believe me I have traveled all around the world.

I booked a room through booking.com and I got a check in time by 11 30 PM. I got there and I could not check in. The receptionist which do not exist after 9 PM was gone. They have this AutoCheck in which is a total disaster.

I have spent 2 hours back and forth to call them to check in. Sometimes they were answering sometimes they were not answering. I asked for waiving the fee and cancel my booking so i can go to another hotel, but they refused.

I was not the only one with this problem. A couple spent 2 hours to check in also, the lady started to cry when they saw the room and they realized they got scammed, and another 2 kids that they also staying outside in front of the door.

The room was different from what I have paid. A basement room, with a small window without any light, somewhere near the janitors and maids carts.

When I finally got into the room, I found my sleeping partner (a bug) which I have filmed.

One of the worst and humiliating experiences that i have ever had and i paid 80 EUROS per night for this.

Please do not check in there, i am currently under process of trying to deplatform them from all...
