Staff were really kind, and location is good. The public transport is really close, there’s a market just across the street and almost everywhere we went was in walking distance. BUT we did have to walk minimum of 15 min to get to most of our destinations. Complimentary breakfast was also delicious and the eating space was very pretty.

Unfortunately, the rooms did not match the level of our free breakfast 🙅🏻‍♀️. Our first room was on the first floor, where the hallways looked very dingey. there was mold on the bathtub and ceiling everywhere in the bathroom. There was a thin layer of dust on everything, and furniture was very old. It had a musty smell and seemed like it had not been renovated in a long time. Even our trashcan wouldn’t open without prying it open with our hands, and the curtains wouldn’t close all the way. You can also hear everything on the streets, really loud. We paid extra for a queen bed, and it was two twins pushed together. That’s fine but the quality of the mattress was really poor. They felt worse than my college dorm beds. Our friend stayed in the same hotel, where she had a room close to the garage. She said it was very loud and had to switch rooms. Our first rooms felt like a bad motel, 1/5.

We called to request a change and got a better room on the fifth floor. The hallways had a fresher coat of paint and the rooms did look more updated. Our “Queen bed” was still two twin beds pushed together, but the mattresses were much better, with a more comfortable mattress topper. We were very relieved that there was no mold in the bathroom. Unfortunately there were still issues like our toilet getting clogged. But all in all I suggest that you call to switch rooms if you end up getting a bad room because the quality difference was vast. Second room was 3/5

Another unfortunate thing was that construction was happening during all four days we were here, starting at 7am. My partner got food poisoning at some point, so we spent the whole day in the hotel listening to drilling and knocking noises for the entire day. I could hear it very clearly in both rooms on the first and fifth floor, so there...

We stayed for 2 nights on the last of a three week vacation in Europe. Location was the only reason we didn’t immediately leave. The hotel does not have a 4-star feel or anything 4-star worthy. The decor is outdated, elevators barely fit 4 people and definitely not the luggage holders they provide to take your things to your room. The staff were helpful with answering questions but when it came to actual issues other then agree with what we were saying there wasn’t much help in how to fix or make our stay better. We paid extra to have a bigger space for our child. However her bed was just at the foot of our bed making us trip over each other as there was no space to move. The wifi worked for maybe a total of 5 mins then Continued to drop or just not work and kick you off. No fridge for food. No laundry bags for dirty clothes. Our “king bed” was two small singles pushed together, which would have been fine if they weren’t roll away beds that continuously moved apart and we actual fell through the middle at one point. The toilet did not flush and the taps leaked all the time. The glass divider for the tub isn’t actually attached so if you try to get out of the tub and hold it do you don’t fall (there was nothing else to hold) it moves making you more likely to fall. We addressed our issue and an upgrade was offered (more money) went to see the room wasn’t worth paying more money for, a little more space but still gives you a 2-3 star feel. Just not worth it. We decided it wasn’t worth it and other then sleep there we didn’t need to spend any extra time or money and just enjoy our last couple of days in Copenhagen as it is beautiful and so much to do to keep you busy. The best was when we checked out we were charges for 2 night upgrade, parking, and breakfast. All of which we didn’t have and getting them to remove the charges took 3 people to. Just boo. I’m being overly nice by even giving a 2 star. This may actually be the worst hotel I’ve...

To begin, we booked the Superior Deluxe double bed $504 AUD per night. I wanted to treat my last night in Copenhagen as a send off in a nice luxury room. We booked a water side view. GRANTED I should have done my due diligence in reading up on the reviews for this place.

-The wall cornices have mould all along them! -The shower head had calcium and mould build up! -Our bath and shower corners all had BLACK mould behind the tap and along the corner. DISGUSTANG -Bugs were along the window frames, which just added to the uncleanliness vibe. -Cracks along the roof. -Air Con didn't work and didn't do anything! -Tiny and dated room

-Elevators max capacity 3 people & 300KGS - ? a weird negative I didn't think I'd care that much about however when checking out in the morning we stopped at EVERY LEVEL due to it being busy. Which would be fine but I had to turn away every person going down as we already had 2 people in the elevator with our suitcases. No one could fit!! I felt awful! They really need to invest in bigger and better elevators.

The hotel must've been in its prime in the 1990s and is CLEARLY showing its age.

-On top of everything we also had an awful view. We booked the "water side view" hotel room.. if you can even call it a view. Expecting a waterside view of the lake was A JOKE. An attached photo shows the view and the circle was the "water view" we could see.

Even on the patio outside of the building had bird poo all along it. Don't stop the birds from sitting there, they're beautiful unlike the view and the hotel! However investing in a outside cleaning service on the patio's building would take away the mouldy bird poo that's just sitting there.

Since it was a higher paying room at $500 per night I had a much higher expectation going into this hotel. Obviously the hotel is not being well kept and the owners/investors don't seem to care the hotel is...

Low quality and bad value for money. We booked this hotel thinking we treat ourself to a €300 breakfast included luxurious Imperial Hotel in Copenhagen. However, upon arrival we were already dissapointed by the unfriendly, unhelpful and uninterested staff. Next we were instructed for parking which turned out to be in a completey different building and a part od “Steel” Hotel. For €30 we would at least hope to have the car parked in the building we are residing in, not having to walk another 500m from the outside into Imperial from the street. Entering the elevator took some time as out of the 3, only 2 were working and it fit only 4 people in total. A bit odd considering such a big hotel with many rooms and guests. The hallway was lacking in upgrades and ventilation. It often seem claustrophic. When entering the room, there was no air circulation and the entire room (especially the bathroom) smelled of sewage drains. Although the bathroom supplies were upgraded and new, the smell was unbareable. Opening the balcony door and seeing an old communistic-style balcony with no actual protection wall and spider webs was not a nice sight. The rooms defintely lack some more upgrades. There was NO mini fridge (we travelled in July) when wanting to cool our bevarages from a long car ride from Oslo. Breakfast had a very small choice and the apple juice wasn’t even apple juice but some liquid mixed with water. There was NO bacon and NO fresh bread and pastries. Overall, for the price you would be paying, I do not recommend this hotel.

On the surface, it seems like a nice hotel - however, we sadly had quite some smaller things - and then it adds up. First of all, at check in, the staffmember had quite a snobbish attitude. Basically we felt like we where a burden, instead of a welcome guest. This felt quite bad. At the room, the cleaning was just under what we expect. also, there is no papers under the glass and cups, so they where just turned upside down on a very dusty tray - so one does not feel like drinking from them and wounder when they where changed last. The shaving kit what was offered at the room, had been opened. We did not need it - but if we had needed it, we would definitely not have felt safe using it, since it was a open package. Those should be disposed from former guests. The toilet, could basically not flush out properly. After a pee-pee it had to be flushed 2 times - after a bigger deal, it had to be min. 3 times - where you need to wait every time ofc. for it to fill totally with water, to then flush again. 3 times... Thats both gross and annoying. The hairdryer was from 1935 i think and it was not only very ineffective, but the plastic was also all melted and brown all around the edge. Very gross as well. And lastly, at check out, again the staff. No "how was your stay? Was everything in order?" or "We hope to see you back again".. no. When saying we wanna check out, the staffmember just took the key and said "thank you" and then look away! Disappointing for this hotel priceclass.
