We had booked two deluxe studio apartments, but when we arrived, they gave us one apartment with two bedrooms. We asked to get what we booked, but the lady in the front desk were hesitant saying booking.com had told them to give us one apartment. We showed her the booking confirmation and called booking, that confirmed we booked two apartment, but the hotel did not care saying it was bookings fault. They ended up giving us an ekstra apartment. We could not pay right away as the lady in the front desk told us she was not allowed to handle payments and the manager was not there. We however confirmed with the price would remain the price we booked from booking.com several times with her as we had a bad feeling.||||This was just the beginning of a nightmare lasting two days. After chasing the manager to pay for two days, she wanted to charge us 200 usd dollars more compared to what we booked through booking, arguing we got two apartments and was only suppose to get one. We told her nicely that was what we booked and that we had confirmed the price with the lady in the front desk. We called and wrote to booking that again confirmed we booked two separate apartments. Booking was calling the manager several times but she refused to take the calls. After discussing with her for some time, where we tried to find a settlement offering we paid some ekstra but not the full price they wanted us to pay, the manager ended up storming out with the card terminal refusing to find a solution.||||We decided to go to bed and try to reach an agreement the day after as the manager had left refusing to talk to us. Before we reached our rooms, a guy presenting himself as the security tried to take pictures of us, threatening us that the pictures would be send to people on the street so they knew whom to look for now that we refused to pay. We went down to the reception telling them we just wanted to pay what they wanted to charge us as this felt like an unsafe situation. ||||The manager came running saying the security guy did not work at the hotel but was a friend, however we saw him behind the desk in the reception the day before, we saw him cleaning the pool, we saw him on pictures of the hotel, and they also told us the day after that he suddenly was the owner, so we are pretty sure he worked at the hotel. ||||After being threatened with people from the street chasing us, we wanted to get out and find another hotel for our last night as we felt very unsafe. Even though we offered to pay the full price they wanted to charge us, they would not let us go, saying it was impossible for us to check out, because the manager did not want to talk to us. ||||We ended up staying the last night even though it was an unsafe situation because we did not want to get in more trouble and the morning after, we again tried to pay the full price as we just wanted to leave. First, they refused to letting us pay, as they wanted to sue booking.com and then they wanted booking to sue us, but we insisted to pay as we had a bad feeling about that arrangement, even if it meant we were paying way more than what we booked through booking.||||Suddenly the managers temperament escalated again, and she told us she would call the police, saying we refused to pay, We again and again offered to pay the full price. They ended up allowing us to pay, but suddenly the total price had exceeded even further. Read moreFrom the moment we arrived at Boutique Hotel Casa Grande, we knew we were in for a truly memorable experience. The woman at the front desk was an absolute gem, going above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Despite our early arrival, she graciously allowed us to check in without any fuss. Not only that, but she also took the time to walk us to a fantastic local restaurant and provide recommendations for our lunch. Her kindness and attentiveness knew no bounds, as she later accommodated our request for a late checkout when we unfortunately fell ill during our stay.
Words cannot express how grateful we are for her exceptional service and genuine care for our well-being. She is an absolute asset to this establishment and a shining example of true hospitality.
Beyond the impeccable service, the hotel itself is a true delight. The rooms are spacious and airy, with tall ceilings that create a sense of grandeur. The modern amenities, including the nice TVs, and spa-like bathrooms, ensure that guests have all the comforts of home at their fingertips.
A delightful surprise awaited us in the charming courtyard, where complimentary bananas from the vine were offered – a thoughtful touch that added to the overall warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Our stay at Boutique Hotel Casa Grande was an absolute pleasure, and we cannot recommend it...
