Please for your own sanity and health do NOT stay in this hotel. I don’t know where the good reviews are coming from because I can’t conceive how anyone could possibly like this hotel. I’ve attached images of the absolute filth of a room we were put in. First of all, there is black mould in the room. Black mould is dangerous and can cause breathing difficulties. I woke up having an asthma attack because of the black mould. The walls were peeling off, the tap was broken, and the AC unit was leaking water. The corridor has a very weird oil smell which made me sick every time I walked to the lift. Despite making staff aware of this when we checked in, we were told there’s nothing they can do. The next morning we received a call about changing rooms but we were too busy trying to find medication for a problem caused by the hotel. When we got back, we just about had time to pack and leave. We didn’t want to stay in such a disgusting hotel any more. The people we liaised with when trying to get a refund just deflected the issue, claiming that they tried to resolve it. What a lie. They are not a 3 star hotel. They aren’t even a 1 star hotel. I’ve never been so disgusted by a service in my life.

Update: a response to the hotel’s comment- we did not “insist on staying another night in the same room” so don’t you dare lie. You are very aware that we checked out the next day and left your hotel a day before our checkout. How dare you say it’s not acceptable to apply for a refund? What’s not acceptable is putting guests in rooms that are unsafe and unhealthy. To potential guests reading this - now you know that the hotel would go to any lengths to get money and lie about their services. Look at the way they’ve responded to other reviews who have any form of criticism - with lies and deceit.

To the hotel - since you’ve got so much to say, why don’t you address the actual issue here? Why is your hotel so dirty? It is most certainly not a 3 star hotel like you claim it is. I wonder how much you paid for the good reviews. Again deflecting from the actual issue at hand is so pathetic. Yes I enjoyed my breakfast and what? Does that make up for having unsafe living conditions? Such unprofessional behaviour from you people but I’m...

The Hotel is reasonably well located and staff at the reception speak some English. But it does not seem to be geared to dealing with tourists and seemed more oriented to business visitors.|The positives first- the room was spacious (we were upgraded). It was clean (much better than expected), and well furnished.|That said - the lighting was ill-conceived. I could not read anything - not even a tourist pamphlet in bed because that side of the room had no lights. Charging points were provided but most plugs would not fit except at one place. The bathroom and room fittings were new but badly assembled. The tap handle would come off every day. And service was pathetic. I could not get a packet of "salt" for 3 days ( for having with my boiled egg). This even after showing a sample packet - with “salt” written in Arabic. Tea bags were kept the room but there was no electric kettle. On my asking for it, it was provided - without a spoon or stirrer - or even a cup. Each of these things I had to ask for. The breakfast served in the room (since it was during Ramadan) was terrible. It included a cheap and poor quality bread - (much better bread was available at the corner of the hotel). And for the 4 days that I stayed - the breakfast was " identical” with not even an attempt to make a minor change. And to cap it all - one night I was woken up at 2:30 am by someone who delivered a set of bath towels (which I had not asked for). I was so stunned to be awakened at such time that I accepted the same - without a word of protest. There were too many such instances to recount. To sum up - I can say - it is a good property - but badly run. Someone desperately needs to train the staff how to cater...

Atlas International Hotel is extremely outdated and in desperate need of renovation. The rooms and washrooms were not clean, and the overall hygiene standards were poor. Most room locks were damaged, which raised security concerns. The breakfast selection was mediocre, offering limited variety and average quality. The hotel’s location is in a very crowded and noisy area, making it difficult to relax. Additionally, hot water was only available in the mornings, which was quite inconvenient. There was no iron facility, and only two water bottles were provided on the first day, with no replenishments. The only positive aspect was the staff, who were cooperative and tried their best to assist guests. However, their efforts were limited due to the lack of proper resources. Elevators were faulty and outdated too. Overall, my experience was very disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel to others.
