New President Hotel Cairo — Hotel in Geziret al Zamalik, Jazirat al Zamalik

Our group spent a week at New President Hotel before continuing on our trip down to southern Egypt and then returned for one additional night before flying out. Both of the rooms were very clean and we had THE BEST continental breakfasts next door at the sister hotel, President Hotel, each morning to start off our day. They also had a bakery at President Hotel for any late night sweet tooth cravings as well. The staff at both places were all very friendly and helpful, especially Dahy and his colleague Mahmoud at President Hotel who helped us arrange all of our transportation and guide needs while in Cairo. The cars/vans were newer and clean with good air conditioning, the drivers were on time, and I felt safe with each of the drivers. Dahy kept in touch with us before, each day during, and after our time in Cairo; even while we were in southern Egypt. I felt confident in his coordination. We had one snag with a guide but Dahy was able to offer a satisfactory resolution for us. I would highly recommend contacting Dahy before coming to Cairo to arrange transportation and guide services and staying at New President Hotel as well. However, even if you’re not staying at the hotel, I believe Dahy can still help you arrange transportation and guide services as that was one of the challenges we had planning our trip and feel so fortunate that...

The room was well maintained and had all the basic amenities that you would need. The front desk was very friendly and accomidating to my late check out request, as well as bag storage.

The wifi connection is decent, and you can easily stream popular streaming services (From your own device). The international TV channels are limited to France24, BBC and Sky News. There is also 1 english move channel. Everything else is in Arabic.

The breakfast at the President Hotel next door was not worth extra spend. The food was ok, but a very limited selection, and that hot foods were not that great. It is convenient to grab a bit before heading out, however nextime i might just grab something from one of the other establishments close by.

First time I stayed here, my friend booked this for me when suddenly I couldn’t stay with her in Dec 2024. Since then, I have stayed at this hotel 4 times and it will definitely not be my last! I highly recommend this hotel for its management and staff. Ahmed, Mohamad, and Bishoy are so kind, professional and accommodating with help on requests or recommendations. The two gentlemen who have cleaned my room each time are very kind, polite and professional too, but I only know one of their names (shout out to Owaiss).
