We were 3 people each one of us ordered a different dish to try most of the famous dishes they have there
We received first The pasta ( Allarrabbiata ) was so tasty and the tomato sauce was so unique this was a credit to the place to be honest
It took them a while to serve the second dish And we ordered pizza ( half pepperoni and half Quattro formaggio ) the crust was so thin and the flavors were perfect
The last dish I ordered my self was the ( fresh homemade Ravioli ) confirmed with the waiter this one with the ricotta cheese and Spanish with white creamy sauce as it’s already the name completely different than the other one the waiter took the order and it took them so long like half and hour to serve it and I was surprised they served me the wrong order they served the Ravioli fresche with tomato sauce and minced meat I’ve asked the waiter to take the wrong order back and get me the right one after a while he got me the fresh homemade Ravioli but unfortunately it was the worst thing I’ve ever had I immediately told the waiter the whole taste was so wrong the white creamy sauce was horrible it’s like Maggi seasoning cubes add to cream there was no other flavors P.S I couldn’t even eat any of it I just tasted it so they took it away they actually tried to charge me for the horrible dish I told them it was so bad won’t even pay for it they said they didn’t even charge me for the first dish but I should be charged for the one I’ve got I told the waiter clearly you don’t understand the first one was your mistake I didn’t order it the second dish is the chef’s mistake cuz it was horrible I didn’t eat any after all we only paid what we actually ate we paid for the pizza and the Allarrabbiata so be careful if you didn’t like a dish you ordered and didn’t eat it don’t simply let them charge you for it ask them to take it away and let them know what exactly wrong with the dish P.S I didn’t keep any photos of this’s dish’s cuz...
Read moreWe tried this place because we smelled the food when walking by the night before. It's small and quaint and has lots of business, which is always a good sign. Seemingly mostly locals frequent the location. As we walked in, a table became available. We grabbed a few menus at sat down. After about 5-7 mins someone came over to take our order. The language barrier was a small issue but we were able to point to our selections. We ordered 2 pizzas and ravioli as our entree and Gaprese as an appetizer. We saw a local add Ketchup to the ravioli so we tried it and liked it. Because its a Muslim country of course it was beef pepperoni on the pizzas. The food was good and I would try it again. The only issue we had was with payment. Upon our arrival we saw a previous customer pay by card, however when we attempted to do so they told us they only took egyptian pounds. Luckily we had enough to cover the bill. I'm unsure if the reason we were told we couldn't use our card was because we were tourists or for some other reason, however it did not feel right. Nevertheless I recommend the restaurant, just be sure to have several...
Read moreOne of the best Italian cuisine restaurants in Egypt The restaurant is located in the Zamalek neighborhood and easy access to it, but the problem is the lack of parking due to the narrow street and the crowded rows of cars. However, this does not mean that you will experience Italian cuisine in one of the best restaurants that I visited in Egypt... The restaurant is very old and was founded by a chef. Italian... from the first glance, when you look at the facade of the restaurant and the decorations, your memory takes you to the old European restaurants that we used to see in the movies... in fact, the restaurant has a small area and the number of tables is limited, but the menu is numerous and varied, with varieties of Italian dishes as well as types of pizza, the taste of which will take your breath away. To Rome, the service is excellent and the prices are relatively reasonable... It was a wonderful experience and I hope you visit the restaurant and live...
