Miette French Bakery Zamalek — Restaurant in Geziret al Zamalik, Jazirat al Zamalik

I know from my personal experiences that every beginning is hard and requires a lot of effort and diligence, so I'm going to create this review for ‘Miette’ with these knowledge.

I noticed ‘Miette’ on a taxi ride. I was literally invited by the French style from outside. As soon as I stepped in, I was greeted by a very subtle, harmonized, calm marble-wood interior. Great!

Miette's menu was very diverse, literally page by page listed, but the reality was very different. A lot of items which I asked were not available. The presentation cabinet was also far away from the usual inviting French way. Finally I decided to order a cup of black tea & a cheese-mushroom-omelette . They were satisfactory but not comparable to the French taste or the way how they would serve.

I'm going to revisit ‘Miette’ soon again to get a second experience to supplement my review...

I love the fact that they bake each and every order fresh to serve For food, we tried several items Lemon tarte, it was nice yet I believe it could use a bit more of improvement Pain au chocolat, Highlight of the day, I can have this each and every day, the quality is beyong Beanou twist, It doesn’t taste like beanou chocolate yet it was nice, it’s not too sugary and well filled Roast beef sandwich, the beef quality is awesome, the bread is toasted to perfection and the overall portion and flavor are very satisfying For drinks we tried: American coffee, its illy so it’s pretty good Lotus frappe, that didn’t taste like the original lotus. However, it was surprisingly great, I would definitely have it again Cappuccino, it was up to expectations Miette is among my favorite spots to brunch, never fails to serve, would definitely recommend giving...

This place is characterized by calm and reassurance, as it is in the heart of Zamalek, but it is very quiet, isolating you from the outside world so that you can drink your coffee, read a book, and let your thoughts emerge with complete calm and focus.
