Excellent hotel, great service, nothing was too much. Food was quality - bit more spice in food and just even salt and pepper on omelette when asked would be good. Drinks good enough for all inc but could be better. Good for all Inc holiday. Pools amazing, beach great, service brill. Rooms and hotel very clean. It's a really easy place to visit. Kids club and kid friendly place. Lil one loved it.
Service at pool, beach, and particularly reception was excellent esp mafooz.
The hotel is v close to airport but no noise of flights.
Thank you to hotel and all staff and management for making our stay excellent. Will definitely come back and recommend. Including to our travel customers. Thanks for the upgrades too. Also thanks from little one for all the buggy/golf car rides from bell captain to our room. Room13##.
Some tips... Book your al a carte restaurant as soon as you get there with first relation. Do your visas before you get there online. Beach is private but the spa and beauty place and dive centre try sell you things .. But they are all working via hotel and legit and nog forceful. They will barter a bit of you bother trying, and we got good offers. The treatment at spa ,(oriental and Thai massage) and the beauty plsve including mens haircut and beard trim and facial and women's anti colgen were worth it. Also the hotel via spa offers a shower facility on your checkout day which was great it had multiple showers n was super pressured so great for the aching muscles. Also go visit oscar the camel and get a ride - owner is v friendly and not pushy on the strip in front hotel to the left. We never ventured out much as hotel had everything. One day tried to go to the Thai/Indian but it was closed Tuesday.

We recently spent our holiday at this hotel as a family, and overall, we had a pleasant and relaxing experience. There are several positive aspects worth highlighting, along with a few areas where improvement would make the stay even better for international guests.
Rooms & Housekeeping: The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable — definitely one of the highlights of our stay. They were ideal for both families and couples. The housekeeping team was exceptional: always smiling, helpful, and attentive to every detail. Their friendly attitude really stood out and added great value to our experience.
Family Facilities & Activities: The hotel is well-equipped for families, offering a variety of activities and spaces for children. We appreciated the effort to create a kid-friendly environment. However, we noticed that many of the children’s activities and entertainment were held in only one language. Since the hotel hosts guests from different countries, providing these in a common language like English would help more children and families participate and feel included.
Food & Dining: There was a good selection of food available throughout the day, with a variety that caters mostly to European preferences. The overall quality was satisfactory, but the flavors were quite mild. A bit more attention to seasoning and the use of spices would help appeal to guests who prefer more vibrant and flavorful cuisine.
We also spent time at the Bwala bar and noticed that, although the staff were friendly and clearly working hard, they were overwhelmed during busy periods. Service was slower than expected, and some orders were mixed up or served incorrectly. While understandable during peak hours, improved coordination or additional staffing could make a noticeable difference.
Sea & Beach: The sea view from the hotel is beautiful and peaceful, which we enjoyed very much. However, the condition of the sea itself was disappointing — the water was not very clean during our stay, and it was very shallow, often below waist level, which made it difficult to swim or enjoy the sea fully. If you're expecting a beach holiday with clear, swimmable water, this may not fully meet expectations.
Noise & Construction: During our stay, there was ongoing construction work at a neighboring site next to the hotel. Unfortunately, the work started quite early in the morning, which disrupted the peaceful atmosphere and disturbed guests trying to rest. While we understand that such developments may be necessary, starting noisy work early in the day is not ideal for a resort environment where rest and relaxation are expected. It would be better if the hotel could coordinate with the construction team to begin work later in the morning to avoid negatively impacting guests' experience.
Staff & Service: Most of the staff were warm, welcoming, and eager to assist. Their friendliness was appreciated. However, in a few cases, some team members were a bit too casual in their approach, which could come across as unprofessional for some guests. A slightly more balanced tone between friendliness and professionalism would enhance the overall guest experience.
Customer Focus & Overall Impression: It’s clear that the hotel aims to provide a customer-focused, comfortable environment, and in many ways, it succeeds — especially for families. With a few adjustments, such as multilingual communication in kids' activities, improved beach conditions, more flavorful food, better peak-time service, and better management of nearby noise disruptions, the experience could be elevated from good to excellent.
We had a lovely time overall, and we believe this hotel has great potential with just a few...
Read moreFirst of all this is an excellent hotel it has the wow factor and exceeds all other ‘5 star’ all inclusive experiences I have had in Egypt and turkey. ||This is my honest feedback. ||A handful of the many positives:||The food is outstanding a asset to the hotel |The rooms are stunning modern and spacious |The staff are all superb |The pools are amazing clean and tested regularly |The Lazy river bliss |The site is so very clean and well maintained |The private beach is close and stunning plenty of beds |The bars, alcohol and soft drinks are premium and good quality wine |The air con in room is excellent |The Ice towels, iced juices and glasses cleaning lady at pool is a excellent touch |The red bag do not disturb at sun-bed is a genius touch |The food service times are excellent no rushing out of bed in the morning |The pool bar guy Mo fatty is absolutely fantastic very good with guests makes you feel at home||The few negatives:||On last day they removed our WiFi access on all our devices at 10am although we didn’t depart until 19:30 in the evening. Meaning no access to transfer or flight info. Very cheap move by this standard of hotel. ||Too many children (personally) I mean the children’s pool was completely empty they all seemed to love crowding around the large pool with the only swim up bar personally I found this annoying too many parents have no control over there screaming brats. ||Smoking indoors in one bar I don’t like (outdated policy)||Shop in the hotel selling fake products and high price (not run by hotel staff) ||I found the hotel very noisy your room door is either going to be opening out on to a construction site next to the hotel or on to the noisy central lobby or on the other side you have entertainment area so if your noise sensitive you may struggle to get a quiet room, take ear plugs if you want your 8hrs kip.||We moved room 2 times first time construction noise second time lobby noise and the room stunk of cigarette smoke from downstairs bar but staff were very efficient in moving us to another room ||The entertainment is just the usual nothing special at all going on in the evenings found it quite dull they could do with a bar exclusive for drinks and entertainment on the beach front, entertainment team a bit lacklustre ||Need a bigger pool bar it gets very busy ||Quad bike Excursion was very disappointing ||Too much fish (personal preference) but was plenty of other options ||Photographer biggest rip off on site, they over edited all the photos so looked like a AI version absolutely terrible and charged €8 per photo and they take like 40 ||Just fyi if you’re looking at the other hotels in the Steigenberger group Hurghada ie aqua magic or pure lifestyle. All 3 hotels are interconnected you can walk from one on to the other and you can use any of the 3 hotels facilities. I think aladu beach is marketed as luxury romantic pure is 18+ luxury and aqua is child friendly luxury. But you can spend your days at any of you like. ||The guest at our hotel were about 70% German and the rest a mix of all other nations and not a lot of brits. ||Finally the positives far outweighed the negatives I recommend...
