Tanga Beach Restaurant — Restaurant in Red Sea

Outrageous. The security guard at the entrance to the resort who did not speak any English told us that we need to show them our passports. We did not carry them, so had to return to our hotel. After taking 2 taxi rides there and back, we returned after 45 minutes and the security guard told us that we cannot get in. As he was unable to explain, we spoke to the receptionist by phone, who told us that the restaurant is fully booked and we cannot get in. We know for sure that the first time, the security guard spoke with the reception. It therefore seems like our country was not good enough to enter the restaurant. In the end, we wasted our time and were not even allowed to the reception. This is a terrible service and I would only recommend to completely...

The place next to the sea is beautiful, but can be windy even inside. We didn't like some of the food, but you can try a lot of different things which we enjoyed. The service was best so far in the whole staigenberger: just the right attention, never had to chase someone for the next drink or dish, but no hassle for tips or entering into our comfort zone. Also some decent live music, the guy got a bit bored but was honestly funny. to play in front of 3 tables only towards the end his energy definitely ceased as did ours, it sounded a bit like an old record that was too long in the sun, so exactly...

Great place to get earlier lunch (lumch here starts at 12, the main restaurant at 1 pm). Buffet menu is smaller here than in the main restaurant, but usually enough to find something for lunch. There is also an option to order food from a la carte menu. You can also watch women bake traditional egyption bread. Once a week there is a sea food dinner here (have to make reservations and it is additional 25eur per person), but this is kind of special event here with food served on the beach, additional decoration and candels added all over the place - looks...
