This is my second visit to Hurghada in 5 months but my first time going out clubbing. -My partner and I arrived in Hurghada on the 15th May 2023 and we will be leaving on the 29th.
The B2 Club & Lounge was recommended to me by one of the locals.. Unfortunately my experience was dreadful and THOUGH I DONâT TYPICALLY LEAVE REVIEWS I THOUGHT I MUST WARN OTHER TOURISTS OF THE SCAM that is taking place at the entrance to the club.
We caught a taxi from our hotel on Sheraton Rd to the club on Saturday 20th. When we arrived we were met by a guy whom was stood with security at a boom barrier. (also known as a boom gate)
He told us the ENTREE FEE TO THE CLUB WAS 600EGP PER PERSON and asked that we pay him right away. After reading reviews prior to choosing this venue to be our first experience I knew that 600egp didnât sound at all right and so I politely told the man that Iâll pay the staff at the door myself after speaking to them. He said âokayâ and took us to the club entrance. When we arrived he promptly spoke to the staff at the door in what I assume was Arabic (which I do not speak. -My partner and I are English.) and I followed up by asking the staff how much the entree fee was. There was a moment of hesitation from them and then they proceeded to tell me 600egp per person. I knew at this point that there was something fishy going on, bearing in mind at the time 600egp = 15.60gbp. Anyone from England would know this is extortionate.
When I politely refused to pay such prices and suggested that we would go somewhere else as club entree fees are typically 5gbp in Britain the man that walked us from the boom gate got verbally aggressive. He told us that we should expect to pay more âfor luxuryâ.
He walked back with us to our taxi which was waiting for us at the boom gate (as the taxi driver kindly offered and thank god he did) and continued to harass us with comments such as âI told you it was 600egp per person, why did you make me walkâ. (we never asked him to escort us)
Now let me be frank⊠Iâm sure the clubs decor and dj(s) is great but the booze here in Egypt doesnât hold up to well known brands such as Smirnoff, Jack Daniels, Gordonâs etc. and that isnât an unfair statement..so âluxuryâ is pushing it.
Nevertheless, I would have happily paid 300egp per person (even though that would have still been overpriced) simply because weâre abroad and itâs a tourist destination.
However, robbing us blind is simply unjust! Not only does it put tourists off from visiting what I had hoped (I will never know now) to be a great venue, but it puts a foul taste in your mouth when it comes to the night life experience Hurghada has to offer and as a result, the desire to want to go out clubbing again diminishes.
I have since spoke to two locals about this experience and both parties confirmed IT IS DEFINITELY A SCAM.
What a shame! To make matters worse.. Due to how the man acted when we refused to pay the ridiculous entree fee, we didnât end up going anywhere else as we were quite shooken up by his behaviour.
IF THE CLUB OWNER READS REVIEWS please address this immediately as itâs stopping customers from coming through your door which in turns keeps money from being spent at your bar!
TOURISTS, do yourself a favour and stay clear...

We visited the B2 Club in Hurghada on Saturday, September 21, 2024, and it turned out to be the worst experience of our entire vacation. We took a taxi from our hotel, the Siva Grand Beach, to the club.
Upon arrival, the taxi driver accompanied us to the door, spoke with the staff, and even followed us to the entrance, pretending to help. We were charged 3000 EGP (about 60âŹ), which seemed outrageous, especially after we found out that other people had only paid around 12âŹ. It became clear that the taxi driver had an arrangement with the club to scam us by inflating the entrance fee so he could pocket part of the money. I have never felt so taken advantage of or scammed in my entire life!
We only received one drink for free, and the night was nowhere near worth the insane amount we were charged. The fact that there is such a shady collaboration between taxi drivers and clubs to deceive tourists is absolutely unacceptable.
I strongly urge everyone to avoid this place and be cautious of similar scams in the area. It was a complete and utter...

This club is a complete disappointment. First of all, the drinks are a jokeânot only do they taste watered down and cheap, but the price changes every time you order! One moment, a drink costs a certain amount, and the next time, it's completely different with no explanation. It feels like they make up prices based on who you are and how drunk you look.
On top of that, if you donât pay an extra 5000 Egyptian pounds, youâll get a terrible table, even though youâve already paid for entry. The service is slow, indifferent, and only focused on guests who throw money around.
If you're looking for a club with fair prices, good service, and quality drinksâgo somewhere else. This place is all about squeezing as much money as possible out of its guests. Absolutely not...
