Continental Hotel Hurghada — Hotel in Red Sea

The check in process were very fast with swift services I came early 12.30 Pm and 12.40 pm I was in my room even though request late check out and it was smoothly accepted . I request a room in the 5th floor and with nice view and my request was accepted... thanks to the Receptionist team and special thanks To "Ahmed" My booking was half-board basis and I want to say that the The breakfast and Dinner varieties was really amazing and food was tasty specially the last three nights,,,, all hotel staff are friendly and always trying to do their best for the guests . The pool was always clean however in the first 3 days the hotel was very crowded and the pool as well accordingly if you didn't reserve a chair long in the early morning you maynot find a free seat the whole day 🤔 .... I think this should be considered by the hotel. the blue sea 🌊 was wonderful and in some days was a bit dirty i due to the stupids whom throw plastic and food into the sea, but the hotel always removing them thanks for this efforts . The animation team was really amazing and dynamic every day having a lot of activities to be done. The hotel should limit and consider the staff whom distrubing the guest for offering body massage and other activities its really annoying to have the same thing repeated everyday in the beach and the pool as if we are in public area not private beach and hotel. The Gym is excellent with functioning equipment however the timing also should be considered it cannot be till 8 pm only and every day.... other 5 stars hotels the gym works till 2AM daily and I will not name such hotels in Hurghada as its not good but its 5 stars also and i think covid19 has no relation about this. Finally the Wifi coverage good and need to cover the whole area of the hotel i.e. The beach and 5th floor rooms however the speed of the internet need to be increased it cannot be 1.4 mega by all means as such speed will never serve the guests at all.... Thanks God i was using my own 4g internet but in some cases I need the hotel wifi and it was very slow and below average not even opening instgram or Facebook for example. At the end I am giving 5 stars rating for this hotel as an average rating and I hope you will take in consideration all what I have write as really if it will be done your hotel will be one of the best hotels in Hurghada ever 🌊.

Many Thanks to the Continental Hotels staff I have...

We have just returned from our fifth time at Continental Hotel and we are already looking to book for next year.||We travelled as a couple plus my wife’s mother. We had two separate rooms booked but were upgraded on arrival to a two bedroom suite. It was a nice surprise and allowed us to have a lounge to use and a large balcony.||It was great to see so many familiar faces from our previous visits, and be recognised as returning guests. It was like returning to a second home.||There are so many people we could acknowledge. At the reception and in the buffet restaurant everyone was welcoming and able to assist with any request we had.||We had a mixed experience with Housekeeping, however any issue with was swiftly resolved by the reception staff.||Around the hotel we would like to thank Reda at the Beach bar for taking care of my wife’s mother as she liked to use the loungers at the beach daily and he was always close by.||When using the loungers near the pool Mohi was always on hand at the towel station to help us find somewhere if it was really busy, and Abdel Ramin kept us fuelled up from the pool bar.||It was a shame that many people left towels on the loungers for long periods unattended, with some even placing towels out before breakfast and then disappearing for a while. Add to this some guests wouldn’t return towels at the end of the day despite Mohi explaining they can get fresh towels the following morning. ||In the evenings we spread our time between the Sundeck Cafe, where Omar was always smiling, and the Captain’s Bar. We had met Gamal on a couple of our previous stays so another familiar face was welcome and provided great service as we would expect. As it got late we were able to spend some time catching up with Mahmoud too when he took over for the night shift. ||A final mention goes to Sameh. He was also smiling and asking how things were when we passed him at his Concierge desk. A charming gentleman who would look to assist even if it was not something he would usually deal with. ||We look forward to returning....

Accommodation: Our room on the 5th floor was spacious and had an amazing view of the whole facility and the sea. The room service visited every day, making sure everything was spotless, beds were made, and fresh towels were provided.

Staff: The staff was always friendly, helpful, and had a great sense of humor. The management team checked in with us occasionally to ensure we were having a good time.

Food: The food offered a wide variety of vegetables, fresh bread and rolls, delicious tortilla fajitas, tasty beef and chicken dishes, and amazing soups. We had plenty of options to try throughout the week without getting bored. There was also a small shed outside the restaurant where they baked Egyptian flatbread and grilled fish, meat, or omelettes depending on the time of day. In addition to the main dining times, there were snack places near the beach and inside the hotel.

A La Carte Marina: We had a fantastic dining experience at the A La Carte Marina, with great seafood and meat-based dishes.

Proximity: Getting around the hotel was easy as everything was conveniently located nearby.

Animations: The only downside was that there weren't many interesting activities during the day and evening, and they were often short. It could be because there weren't many people participating during our stay.

Bar: There were three bar locations, including one on the beach, a pool bar, and one inside the hotel. They served what you would expect, although the selection of liquors was a bit limited for an all-inclusive option. However, the velocity improved after tipping well improved if you're into that.

Beach: The beach had beautiful yellow sand, a shallow entrance to the water, and lifeguards for safety. Beach chairs and umbrellas were provided at no extra cost. It's worth mentioning that during the first day or two, there might be some people from the hotel or Bobos water sport trying to sell you trips or spa activities, which could be a bit bothersome.
