Chalets des Sapins — Local services in Bonneville

We hired out all 4 chalets for a group of family/friends to attend a wedding. All 4 chalets were clean and had good facilities and having all 4 provided a lovely environment as we shared between us e.g. One apartment had ice making facilities which was very useful in the weather we had - 30+degrees all week!||A few points to make people aware of- other people are in and out the coded gate regularly- we had no idea who they were or why but there is some type of accommodation underneath Sapins 2 and 3. Also just for information we took a slack line with us to play on in the garden area- this was taken from the garden on our wedding day.... We tried to track it down but no legitimate removal reason was found- can only assume it was stolen so please be careful.||Also be aware that the owners current website states 'the loft' has 4 ensuites- it does not. One room is ensuite, there is one other shower and toilet room and then one separate toilet. Also be aware the upstairs twin rooms are snug and the stairs up are steep and narrow to one in particular. The beams are also very low and it's easy to bang your head- just be careful. The bathroom floor in the ensuite had some grout coming out do could be a bit rough.||The Terrace was as described and the outside space was lovely. No complaints about sapins 2 or 3. We did experience quite a lot of noise late at night from surrounding apartments that disturbed a few of out guests.||Unfortunately one of our party misplaced one set of keys and we were charged 30 euros to replace- I don't mind paying but 30 euros for 2 keys is a lot of money.||Overall a good visit and just a shame the few things left a slightly bitter taste. Perhaps it might be prudent to explain to people before booking all 4 chalets that there will be people in and...

The chalet is nice but unfortunately we arrived to unclean bedsheets which had the previous guests hair on them. The sheets appeared washed but perhaps the washing machine was inadequate. During our stay there were high winds and a tree fell down and pierced the facade of the building. If we had been outside at the ski locker this could have easily killed me, my wife or one of my young children. There is another similar tree still standing. This should be removed as a matter of priority to ensure the safety of future guests. The host was pleasant in person but has zero flexibility on timings and gets frustrated if you ask any basic questions about how things work in the chalet. The location is great, our overall holiday experience was good but we will not stay in this...
