Hotel Le Jardin Croisette — Hotel in Grasse

We arrived after a flight that was delayed six hours. The hotel were good and when we arrived we were given our keys by the night porter with no issue and went to the room. The room was compact , smaller than I imagined as was the bathroom however it was clean and in a reasonable condition , not luxury. The hanging space and storage for clothes was adequate if not a little lacking. Balcony was a decent size and pleasant views over the garden. The room did feel hot and quite oppressive during the night. The patio door has shutters and to keep the road noise out these needed to be closed. We had a difficult sleep because the air conditioning want working properly .|The breakfast for 24 euro for two was very good value compared to what you got locally. We only had one breakfast and that was because we found we would eat too much and also bran was not available or fresh fruit , the cheeses , cold meets etc were all very good with fresh breads and pastries. The restaurant we didn't use and it was closed some nights. the lady running it was quite stern and never smiled at us once. The kitchen was a mobile unit in the garden so it was not what we wanted. On the second night we realised the air con was not working and it took two more nights to sort that out which really upset us as the temperature was 26 plus so we could not sleep. The staff in reception , room maids and every one else was lovely. For the price the hotel could not be in a better position right in the heart of the area. The air con was repaired and we had the lovely cool room for the rest of our stay. All in all if we had not had an issue with the air-conditioning this hotel with a balcony was...

My impression of the hotel is wonderful! I really appreciate cleanliness since I have allergies and asthma, and I also love taking mirror selfies — if the mirror isn’t clean, it totally ruins the experience for me. But in this hotel, everything was spotless, even the glass shelf was crystal clean. What I truly enjoyed was the fresh bedding — it felt completely new with no trace of staleness. Big thanks also to the friendly staff who were always happy to help. Thank you for leaving us with amazing memories not only of the sea, but also of our stay!
