We had an absolutely incredible weekend at Hotel Mondrian, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything was simply perfect.

The hotel is located in a prime area, making it easy to explore the city. Most attractions, restaurants, and shops are within walking distance, and getting anywhere is quick and convenient. Whether you want to explore the city’s highlights or just enjoy a relaxed stroll, the location is simply perfect. On top of that, our room had a breathtaking view—waking up to such a spectacular skyline was an absolute highlight of our stay!

The breakfast selection was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and high-quality options, from healthy choices like fresh fruits and yogurt to delicious pastries and hearty dishes. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. The bar was also a great experience—expertly crafted cocktails, a stylish ambiance, and a great selection of drinks made for the perfect way to end our evenings.

Read moreI recently stayed at the Mondrian Cannes and my experience was nothing short of disappointing. This hotel should not be 5 star. The hotel did not inform or highlight before arrival that pool and beach access was not available when it was advertised in the booking site.
Housekeeping is not available in the evening so combining twin bed as they lack double beds was not possible if you check In the evening . On 22 june I requested by phone and email , housekeeping at 9:30 AM and at 3 PM, the room was still unmade. The in-room dining was a disaster. The food served (pizza) was heated from frozen and was utterly inedible and they are also not license after 1am for room service.
I logged a complaint with the night shift manager on June 21st, but no one cared to follow up or discuss the issues I raised. The overall attitude of the hotel staff was careless and indifferent.
The only positive aspect of my stay was the concierge service, which was helpful. However, this does not make up for the rude and unhelpful behavior of the female receptionist on 21 June , who was particularly uncooperative .
We had booked 4 jr suites and 3 out of 4 had wrong charges on final bill specifically with breakfast charges been assigned randomly to guests. I paid for a room that i did not use there and checked in next door at JW Marriott where reliable service and basic hospitality service was performed for 30% less of the price .

During our stay the room service failed to do their job and after failing to do their job, we let the hotel know but the hotel only sent room service to fix it up and no one came up to apologize or offer any kind of a sorry. 1- The room service didn’t fix and refill the bar and coffee, and took the the dirty cups and empty bottles and left them inside of the bar without changing them 2- I left the shower robe on the floor for it to be changed to they just took it and hang it again. 3- there was a bag inside one of the luggage’s and the room service opened the luggage and took the the bag out and put something inside the luggage. 4- under the Nespresso coffee machine there were some stains from the previous use and they just left it as is. 5- the fridge wasn’t refilled and left it as is, empty. After all that another person came and said she will talk to the Manger for her to come and solve this issue with us but no one came. At checkout, we were asked how our stay was, when we explained what happened and everything, we were just met with “oh ok”.
