I am writing about the worst worst customer service I have ever came across.

On day 1, my friends and I checked in around 17:00-18:00pm. After leaving our baggage in our hotel room, we put our key card to keep the electricity on for our lights and left for dinner. After coming, we discovered lights were off and obviously someone came into our room without our permission. After clarifying with the female staff at the front desk for more than 10 minutes, she then admitted their house keeping staff might have went in as it was their regular practices to go into every single room to check (whatever they wanted to check). We were furious and complained about the fact that once we have checked into our room, why would any staff go into our room without permission? This is related to our own privacy and safety! Also, we found out that all the rooms around us (3 out of 4) are all renovating with all the tools lying around on the corridor near our room. We requested for a room change but the front desk staff told us to go early next day and will not change our room that night. Next day we returned and the staff was so rude and said we should have come earlier (but never told us earlier meaning what time…). We asked about the exact time to come over to request for a room change and she said at 10:00am next day. During the day, workers have been walking in and out with loud noises, banging on walls and floors.

Next day, on the dot 10:00am we went down and asked the room to be changed and it was successful. They told us to leave our baggage in the old room and will help us to get them transferred. However, we do not feel comfortable leaving baggage behind as the incident happened on the first night (some staff got into our room without permission). We brought all our bags to the front desk with chain locks, keeping all baggage together. The staff was rude and questioned us why do we have to lock everything together. (What’s with the attitude?!)

After leaving baggage behind, as we walked out, we forgot to get the baggage receipt. So one of us returned and asked for it. The staff then told us, unless we remove the chain locks, he will not give us the receipt. Around 14:00 we have returned to the hotel to claim our baggage back to the new room, the staff then asked “how are you today?” and we said we were okay, where she replied, “ ARE YOU SURE?”. We were frightened as we are tourists, coming here for holidays and why do we have to suffer with all these bad customer services? Even when we got to our new room on a different floor, still tools are all around the floor along the corridor. However, on this floor, we found that no workers have been working around but floor are all dirty and dusty.

Overall, this is the worst hotel experience we have ever encountered. Provided that we paid 350 Euros per night for three people for a Superior room and all we got was a double bed with a small bed squeezed next to the double bed.

That’s not a 4 star even 3 star hotel at all . If you look for a good location hotel which near all the brand name shop , good...

People please be aware and stay away from this hotel. The staff have a very bad attitude including the manager.

Upon arrival the gentleman at the front desk was extremely rude to my friends.

I had an extremely bad experience my wallet was stolen out of the safe with my money and cards. Went to report to duty manager that evening she said that she notified manager and left a note for me talk with them in the morning.

I did so 1st thing and was told she was still not in at 8:00. I just come back later when I did finally meet with her she told me that the incident needed to be reported to the police before they did anything.

I asked to please check who had access to the room last and if we could see footage on camera and she said she is unable to do anything until the gentleman in IT arrives.

I asked to please send a staff member with me or if she could accompany me to the police station and she blatantly refused and said they were short staffed.

As the manager of the hotel she showed no empathy neither was she apologetic about what happened to me.

To date I haven’t received a response on my mail to them not any correspondence regarding the incident that took place.

This shows that they have a don’t care attitude and says a lot about how they value their guests and customers.

Their staff in the breakfast room rush you through breakfast and start cleaning your table whilst you eating saying that breakfast is over and they require the area for meetings. This I have never experienced in my life at a hotel and find it totally disrespectful and unacceptable.

Definitely a no go I give them a zero rate you don’t get what you pay for . My friends got a room that was old and the room had a damp murky smell in the carpets.

STAY AWAY AND BE CAREFUL...

The hotel is beautifully located in the heart of the fashion district — you’ll find Chanel, Cartier, and other luxury boutiques just steps away. The Japanese and British embassies are also nearby.

Our room was spacious, as was the bathroom. Since we were three people, a cot was brought in. However, the cot’s mattress had noticeable springs, so whoever ends up sleeping there should be aware — you’ll still sleep from sheer exhaustion, but your back may pay the price later!

Breakfast was excellent — everything tasted fresh and appeared to be made on-site. The only prepackaged items were the fruit yogurts, though there was also fresh, plain yogurt available. A coffee maker and electric kettle were provided for tea or coffee, along with complimentary bottled water.

A few things could be improved:

The shower and tub were both wonderfully spacious, but neither had safety handles — a concern for older guests or anyone with balance issues.

There were no towel racks or hooks, which made it difficult to dry towels or robes. It seems like a simple, eco-friendly addition that would make a big difference.

On a positive note, the hotel provides large refillable bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, which is much more sustainable than single-use amenities.

Overall, a well-located hotel with great breakfast and roomy accommodations, but a few small design fixes would make it perfect. Otherwise, the hotel was comfortable, clean, and very convenient. Coffee, tea, and bottled water were...

Our stay at this hotel was honestly a letdown. When we arrived, our room wasn’t ready and we had to wait a long time just to check in. After finally getting to the room, we were shocked to find blood stains on the bed and the overall cleanliness was far from what we expected. We complained to the staff, and while they didnt even apologize. They simply changed the sheets, there was no real compensation or effort to make up for the inconvenience. This was the old lady in the front desk, she was extremely rude and unaccommodating. How she got to that position is beyond me. She could have simply apologized and gave at-least a little compensation. If you see this old lady runaway. It felt like they just wanted to move on quickly instead of addressing the issue properly. The only highlight of our stay was Julie, one of the Filipino receptionist . She was very kind, accommodating, and genuinely tried to make us feel welcome despite everything that happened. She’s the only reason this review isn’t completely negative

We arrived at 11pm May 3rd from a Long drive from Amsterdam- pre paid for 9 nights. However when we got to the hotel they send no room for us! The front desk was rude. Very rude. Only thing they kept saying im only an employee. Couldn’t do anything. We had to lug our luggage back to our private van that drove us and didn’t even want to pay for the driver and the van even if the driver had official receipt because their budget was only 15 euros. I had to shell out an additional 50 euros to move. Very unprofessional not the best at hospitality. Price I paid per room is sooooo not worth it. Oh and lastly even before arriving I was emailing hotel to help me make hotel reservations… no reply at all. Mind you I emailed several times. Very bad service. Regretting I chose this hotel - other hotels with better price and better service. Lastly, REALLY BADDDDD COFFEE in the breakfast buffet.

The worst experience in my whole life! Stay away from this hotel, they are claiming to be 4 star, but in reality it must probably be equals to a cheap motel. I booked a superior room, and upon my arrival and check in, the front desk super rude woman asked me wait until they check upon the room before sending me up. Seeing that my wife was pregnant she gave us the most disgusting smallest room, that doesn’t not correspond to pictures and descriptions of what I booked. When we came down and asked for exchange, the new front desk associate seemed to be surprised this room existed! Lol Attaching pictures. Shame on you, Paris hotel De Castiglione!
