As a global connoisseur of luxury retail and an avid collector of refined pieces, I hold my expectations high when it comes to iconic houses such as Chanel. Virginie Lampre exceeded those expectations and redefined what it means to experience true Parisian luxury.
From the moment I arrived at Chanel’s 31 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré boutique, Virginie welcomed me with an effortless elegance and attentiveness that immediately set the tone. Her expertise, calm demeanor, and sincere passion for the brand were evident in every gesture—from her personalized curation of selections to the detailed explanation of craftsmanship behind each piece.
Most notably, Virginie assisted me with the acquisition of a rare and exquisite Long Pendant Necklace, model AB9166 B21122 U2218, which I now consider one of the cornerstone pieces of my personal collection. Her ability to intuitively understand my aesthetic and translate it into a tangible experience was nothing short of extraordinary.
Virginie Lampre is not merely a sales associate—she is a guardian of the Chanel legacy. Her professionalism, discretion, and genuine care created a memory I will carry with me well beyond Paris. This was not a transaction; it was a couture moment.
I look forward to returning for future engagements under Virginie’s guidance. Chanel is fortunate to have such a refined ambassador within its historic walls.

Read moreWhere to begin. First we went to another location our first day in Paris. Our service was good, just not extraordinary. Not finding the shoes I wanted, I asked my hotel concierge to get us an appt at this store whom they work closely with.
When we first arrived our sales associate wasn't quite available so the mgr helped us. She was delightful. Lovely to speak with, she looked for shoes for us that weren't available at this location, and had us tee'd up for Vivienne to take over. Vivienne took over and we spent the afternoon with her. Another sales associate kept also checking in on us and truly also added to the spirit of the day. I ended up with among other things with a coat. The coat was in demand and the size was too big. The house seamstress who was also feverishly working on alterations for the Fashion Show that was days later had made adjustments to my coat and it was ready in a matter of 3 days. When I went to pick up my coat, the mgr once again helped me. She could tell I was tired, my feet hurt, I was thirsty and carrying several shopping bags. I needed a ride back to my hotel. She personally ran outside to grab me a cab to get back to my hotel. This was my dream trip that I had waited years to have and this Chanel team was spectacular!! I will be back and highly recommend...
Read moreI had the worst shopping experience among all lux brands i’ve purchased from. the SA Armelle was nice on the surface but super nasty the moment i went back to the shop highlighting defects about my bag. Please don’t get too excited buying your bag in the moment and check your bag properly before leaving. How can a classic Chanel yellow leather start flaking off and showing white from one use? Anyway, the discolouration of the straps was not what i expected from Chanel. Anouch was the repair staff who tried to fix the problem and they actually admitted the defect after their experts assessed it. In the end they changed the whole bag for me one for one and i got the Black Caviar Classic and returned the yellow bag. So much for SA Armelle talking over me when i’m trying to explain it was so frustrating. Also she was insistent that it’s because i used the bag so i wont get it exchanged, but how would i know it is faulty until it is used? Light usage = leather flaking out is not normal at all. I guess she just wanted to get things done fastest by shrinking all responsibility and get defensive. We could have resolved it much faster if not for her unnecessary comments. The collection has cute colours but the SA not so cute in...
